Romeo fixed the jacket on his body, fixing the mask on his face nervously as he trailed after Tara, passing by a boy Tara recognize. He's wearing a Jason Voorhees costume, while Tara's wearing a pirate costume.

"Hi, Jason. Are you and Greg coming to the OKB party?" Tara said, holding onto Romeo's hand so he won't freak out.

"Yeah, if he ever finishes his Spanish project." Jason responded, looking at the boy behind Tara before looking at Tara. "Is your sister gonna be there?"

Tara laughs at the very thought. "You wish. Sam wouldn't be caught dead at a Frat party."

"There's a first time for everything." Jason said, looking at the boy behind Tara who is looking at him with his blank blue eyes. "Who is this?"

"A friend of ours." Tara said, not introducing Romeo to Jason.

"Damian Wallace." Romeo introduced, giving Jason a fake name, studying him with his eyes.

"It's nice meeting you Damian." Jason said, watching them walk away.

"Damian Wallace?" Tara questioned, looking up at Romeo who looked back at her.

"I don't want your friends to know you're friend with a killer." Romeo said, shrugging his shoulders.

Tara let out a small laugh. "I appreciate the thought." She said, shaking her head softly at Romeo who is so thoughtful to her and their friends. This is the Romeo that she loves and knows, not the one Amber and Richie ruined.

Romeo sit silently beside Anika and Mindy, watching everyone dancing nervously. Tensing every once and a while everytime someone gets close to him.

"It doesn't bother you? Being at a house party after you were almost brutally murdered at a house party?" Anika said, placing her hand on Romeo's hand to calm him down, which started working instantly.

"I think of it like being struck by lightning. The odds of it happening to the same person twice are extremely low." Mindy said.

"If it happens again, I'm playing as the knight in shining armor." Romeo spoke for the first time, gaining the girlfriends attention.

"That's good to hear." Mindy said.

"Guess I should stay close to you two then." Anika said, smiling at Romeo and Mindy.

"Real close." Mindy said.

Anika scoots closer to Mindy, smiling. Mindy and Romeo looks up to see Tara walking past, heading for the keg.

"How you doing, T?" Mindy asked.

Tara's glassy eyes broadcast her drink intake. She shoots Mindy and Romeo a thumbs-up and weaves to the keg station where a man is placing a red cup upside-down on the pump.

"You're kidding, right?" Tara asked.

"Nah, last one's kicked. We got hard stuff in the kitchen, though." The man said, extending his hand. "Frankie."

"Tara. Lead the way." Tara said.

As they walk away, Romeo watched their every movement just in case the man wanted to try something.

"You need to get laid, dude." Mindy said, looking at Romeo who turned his head to look at her.

"Do you really think someone could love me, a boy who keeps a secret about his past?" Romeo asked, his eyes looking tired than before. He looked away and looks at Ethan, who is dancing with Chad.
