Gregory Pov
"These turnstiles require a complimentary Pizzaplex Entry Pass. There should be some located near the main entrance." Freddy said whenever Lucky and I were denied entrance into the main Pizzaplex because her Entry Pass was expired and I never had one.
Sure enough, there was a stack of identical gift boxes near the entrance, and Lucky and I both grabbed one. I wound mine and got my pass, and once again, Lucky is winding hers and then letting it unwind. "We can probably find you a music box here or something." I pointed out.
"Really? Thank you!" Thankfully, she fully wound the crank, and got her Entry Pass. We went back to the turnstiles, with Lucky somehow able to muster a huge grin.
HOW DID CHICA GET THERE?! I grabbed Lucky by her sweater and pulled her around the corner and went there myself, so we're out of Chica's view.
Chica moved, so we opened the turnstiles. "Well done you two, you have made it to the Lobby. Unfortunately, that complimentary entry ticket does not allow you to enter the pizzeria. You can find an upgrade machine in Customer Service."
"I remember Rory complaining about having to pay several times." Lucky mumbled as I checked the camera to make sure we can enter the Lobby. Once it was safe, I dragged Lucky with me into one of the tub things, where I checked the security camera. "Look." She whispered to me after we were watching Chica's patrol route. "When Chica gets there," She pointed to the area upstairs where one might get on the elevator behind us. "We can go up those stairs and into that restaurant." Lucky finished her explanation with a smile.
I returned the smile, whispering, "Yeah, good idea." And we waited. Once Chica was in position, we executed our plan, making our way into Faz-Pad. We quickly ducked behind the counter and used the cameras to see when the flashlight bots weren't in our path. We bolted into the kitchen part and Lucky decided to investigate the kitchen before we continued.
She found a Glamrock Chica plush, that she put back where she found it, not having the ability to carry it with her. "I saw a duffel bag downstairs, you can use that to carry anything you find that you want to keep." I whispered to her. "Thank you." Lucky responded, and I decided to carry the plush.
From there, we went downstairs, to the area near lost and found. We checked the watch again and saw that Chica was halfway up the stairs, so we could breathe easily as we got the passes (still being extremely cautious, of course).
I put both our entry tickets in the machine at the same time, only for it to eat out passes! "It ate our passes!" I whisper shouted, and Freddy suggested, "Perhaps there is a way to hack it back out. Try Glamrock gifts, they have lot's of trinkets, knickknacks, and doodads."
"Gregory, what does that sign thing say?" Lucky asked, pointing at a sign saying not to bring magnets near the machine. "It says not to bring magnets near the machine. Do you not know how to read?"
"I have dyslexia." She explained, and we began mapping out a route on the cameras. We decided to wait for Chica to get halfway up the stairs before making a break for it and hiding in two strollers, before waiting for Chica to get to the upper middle point from before and then grabbing the duffel bag and temporarily leaving the lobby to figure out if we should use the same route as before.
And, surprisingly, it worked. We looked at my watch, and decided to use the same method as before, only hiding in a photo booth until Chica does her rounds again and is going down the stairs instead of going to Faz-Pad. This place sure is obsessed with the word Faz.We're once again, back in the tub bin thing, and I can tell Lucky is scared. "Once we're somewhere safer, we can take a break." I offered, to which she whispered in a shaky voice, "Yes please."
Chica got to where we needed her, and we went up the stairs, same as before. We made it into the gift shop and were catching our breath as we went downstairs.
Once down there, I saw the box and immediately wound it. "Freddy, we found the free gift. It's a crappy Mr. Hippo fridge magnet? Lame." I said, turning the magnet over in my hand. "I am sorry, Gregory, Lucky. I am truly sorry." Freddy apologized.
"It's okay." Lucky said, as we (once again) planned our escape route. We hid and (once again) waited for Chica to get halfway up the stairs. Once she was up, we ran to customer service, and I stuck the magnet to the machine.
"Yes!" Lucky whisper shouted. "The magnet scrambled the machine!" I added, then it spat out two daycare passes, causing me to say, "Aw man. Now they're some kind of Daycare Passes?"
"That is great news! I will meet both of you at the daycare. The entrance is on the second floor balcony." Freddy explained, and I looked at Lucky, who was looking down and hugging her stuffed cat.
"Do you think the daycare will be safe?" She asked, looking up at me, eyes watery with tears that haven't fallen yet. "I don't know." I started, "But that doesn't mean we're in this alone. We're in this together, right?" I asked, holding my hand out for her to grab. "Right," she sniffed, "together." She grabbed my hand and we began running to the tub thing.
Once Chica was in the right spot, we went up the stairs and through the doors with the daycare sign. While walking through the hall, Lucky ran to the fountain and climbed on it, and the music that plays when the boxes are cranked told me that she found another one.
She came down from the fountain with a Sun plush. I she put it in her duffel, along with the Monty sweatshirt and the Chica plush. She ran up to me and we continued walking down the hall. We made it to the hangar door with a sun and moon on it. "Guess we better hope for the best." Lucky said, hugging her plush again.
