Vox sits in his office, he let's out a sigh and drinks his glass of wine, overlooking hell through the tall windows in his office. Hes been more stressed as of late, due to Alastor being back in town, he's not sure how much more or less powerful that radio demon has gotten since the last time they met.

"Vox?"

A familiar voice catches him off guard as he buzzes. He turns his head, his right eye radiating dark circles. "KNOCK THE- oh. " His eye goes back to normal, as he swirls his drink around, calming down.

It was just a demon that he was actually quite fond of. It was quite rare for him to attatch to other demons like this, but you seem to be an exception for him.

"Ah- sorry, Vox." You mumble, walking in. Your very familiar with the TV demon. In fact, you two somehow ended up becoming lovers. It still boggles your mind that an overlord like him fell for a demon like you.

"No worries, dear!" He let's out a large smile. You never could truly tell if he was hiding behind his large, blue, toothy smiles, or if it was genuine, but you can't help but smile back regardless.

"Come here, I want to talk to you." Vox invites you over, and you happily walk over and sit on his lap while he rests on his chair, overlooking the view of Hell. He let's out a sigh and takes a sip of his blood-red wine, before patting your head. It's almost a natural instinct for you to cuddle up against his chest.

Before he could say anything, you ask him a question. "Is Alastor stressing you out again?"

He continues to pet your hair. Placing the glass back on the table and letting out a sigh. "Yes, but it's nothing you should worry about. Obviously, I'm surperior. I'm not sure why I'm so worried. "

You let out a frown and look at him. His face seems to be saying otherwise. "Confidence is good, but too much may lead to your demise."

"Acting so wise is strange for you. Last thing I was expecting was a lecture from my partner. " He smiles down at you, taking another sip.

"Oh shut up, I just really care about you. I don't want you to end up like.. Them. " you frown. You've been I'm hell for quite awhile, and your well aware of the screams over the radio. They still ring in your head today. You just hope you'll never hear Voxes on there.

His grip tightened on the glass, even cracking it a little. You were afraid he was going to shatter it and get glass shards everywhere. "Don't say such things! You really don't have that much faith in me, do you?"

Despite how much you love Vox, he does scare you when he gets angry. But that's what everyone does in Hell. "No that's not what I meant at all!" You frown as his eye is radiating a bit again, but he closes his eye and sighs, regaining his composure and going back to normal.

"Sorry. I guess I really have been stressed" he finally admits, tapping the table with his fingers in a rhythmic manner.

"You should take a break. I really love you, you know. I just want what's best for you." You smile, giving him a gentle kiss on the lips before cuddling back into his chest.

He pets your hair, looking back out the window, his other hand returning to his glass of wine which is almost empty. "I guess so. Sorry about that, dear." He gives you a small kiss on the forehead before taking another sip of his drink, placing it back on the table and wrapping his arms around you.

"I'll protect you from that horrible demon."
