Sorry this took so long :,D I took a break from writing and been going through a bit (also smuts take forever to write)

The lonely king let out a sigh, life just hasn't been the same since the last time he saw Lilith, she's been absent for so long he almost forgot what love felt like. He lets out a sad whistle and sits on his chair in the office, swirling around golden flames with his finger out of boredom. The room is covered in a silky red with hints of gold, with a large king sized bed off to the side, while a large picture hangs in the distance featuring his beloved daughter and wife, along with himself.

He steps out of his chair, taking a look at the picture that hangs peacefully on the wall. His daughter has not contacted him in some time, along with his wife. It feels as though his whole family abandoned him, and he couldn't do anything but watch as they slowly live their own lives and disconnect from his grasp, almost like when the angels banished him to Hell. It seems as though his whole life was going downhill, and he's still experiencing punishment for his endeavors all those years ago.

"Lucifer, Sir?" The sound of your voice cuts him out of his daze, and he blinks, turning around and looking towards you.

"Ah! Y/N! I apologise, I wasn't expecting visitors." He looks at you with a great smile, his hand in his cane while adjusting his hat.

You were one of the maids that worked for Lucifer and his wife, but due to the absence of Lilith, it was simply the king that resided here. you were wearing a neat looking dress, that was a deep maroon with gold outlines next to the white accents.

"Just checking on you, your majesty. I didn't mean to intrude." You bow your head slightly. "It's been a few days since you've left your chambers and I was just checking in on you."

"Ah! No need to worry Missy! I'm perfectly fine!" He says, but he couldn't help but hide the small hint of pain behind his voice while he returns to his chair.

You frown a bit walk up towards him, before grabbing a few of the dishes and laundry he had kept in chambers, which you assume is due to his depressed state. You hated seeing him this way, but there's not much you could do about the matter but assist him I'm any way you could.

"Hey, Dearie, come and sit with me for a bit." You hear Lucifer's voice from behind you. You smile and turn around after placing the dishes and laundry down next to the table that resided next to the door, then walked towards him.

He patted his lap as a welcome for you to rest there, and dispite a small hint of hesitation, you sit on his lap while he taps his other hands fingers on the table in a rhythmic manner.

He let out a small sigh before tapping his leg a bit. You look at him with a slight sympathetic look on your face before he speaks.

"So uh... Well I'm not sure exactly how to say this." He turns and looks at you, where you two were now staring directly at each other. "I've just been feeling a bit lonely recently. I'd like some company, if you don't mind, Dearie."

"No problem, sir, your wish is my command." You give a short smile before patting his head a bit.

You seem to be one of the more favored maids by him as your duty mainly consists of dishes, laundry, and cleaning, so your the one that interacts with him the most. He's taken quite a liking to you. In fact, this isn't the first time he's made a request of this nature towards you, but you don't mind at all, you enjoy his company as well, and sometimes he even vents to you.
