Meanwhile

Red Riot held some of the flowers from Aspen's hair while Aspen was placing them in the water until she saw the first lantern.

Aspen Arian:
"All those days, watching from the windows. All those years, outside looking in. All that time, never even knowing just how blind I've been. Now I'm here, blinking in the star light. Now I'm here, suddenly I see. Standing here, it's oh so clear, I'm where I'm meant to be. And at least I see the light, and it's like the fog has lifted. And at least I see the light, and it's like the sky is new. And it's warm and real and bright, and the world has somehow shifted. All at once, everything looks different, now that I see you."

Aspen turned around to sit in front of Red Riot who was holding two lanterns.

Aspen Arian:
"I have something for you too. I should have given it to you before, but I was just scared. And the thing is, I'm not scared anymore. You know what I mean?"

Eijiro Kirishima:
"I'm starting to. All those days, chasing down a daydream. All those years, living in a blur. All that time, never truly seeing things the way they were. Now she's here, shining in the starlight. Now she's here, suddenly I know. If she's here, it's crystal clear. I'm where I'm meant to go."

Eijiro Kirishima & Aspen Arian:
"And at last I see the light."

Eijiro Kirishima:
"And it's like the fog has lifted."

Eijiro Kirishima & Aspen Arian:

Aspen Arian:
"And it's like the sky is new."

Eijiro Kirishima & Aspen Arian:

As the two held each other's hand, Red Riot cupped Aspen's cheek while the two leaned closer to share a kiss. However, right as Red Riot was about to kiss Aspen he saw the stabbington brothers waiting with a green lantern on the other side, which made him concerned.

Aspen Arian:
"Is everything okay?"

Eijiro Kirishima:
"Huh? Oh, yes. Uh, yes of course. I just..."

Red Riot looked to the side with a determination in his eyes. Not long after, he made the canoe rest on the shore of the mainland.

Eijiro Kirishima:
"I'm sorry, everything is fine. There's just something I have to take care of."

Aspen Arian:
"Okay."

Eijiro Kirishima:

"I'll be right back."

While Red Riot walked away with the satchel in hand, Kaminari crawled on Aspen's right shoulder

Aspen Arian:
"It's alright, Kaminari."

After reassuring her little friend, the two stared at Red Riot disappearing into the night's fog.

Meanwhile

Eijiro Kirishima:
"Ahh, there you are. I've been searching everywhere for you guys,since we got separated. Hey the sideburns are coming in nice, huh? Gotta be excited about that. Anyhow, just wanted to say, I shouldn't have split. The crown is all yours. I'll miss you, but I think it's for the... best.

Lord Nighthowler:
"Holding out on us again? Hey, Riot?

Eijiro Kirishima:
"What?"

Lord Nighthowler:
"We heard you found something. Something much more valuable than a crown. We want her, instead"
