As the day came to an end, we found ourselves gathered around a roaring campfire, the orange flames casting long, dancing shadows around the clearing. The air was filled with the soft crackling of burning wood and the comforting smell of smoke mingled with the sweet scent of roasting marshmallows.

I sat next to Yugo, a toasting stick in my hand, a marshmallow skewered at its end. I watched as the marshmallow turned a golden brown, the heat from the fire warming my face. It was a simple joy, a moment of peace amidst the whirlwind of adventures we had experienced.

Around us, the Brotherhood talked and laughed, their voices carrying stories of their past adventures. Ruel was telling us with a tale of a buried treasure, his hands animated as he described the perilous journey and the Kamas at the end. Amalia was listening, her eyes wide with curiosity, while Evangelyne and Percedal shared amused glances, familiar with Ruel's flair for the dramatic.

Yugo, however, was quiet, his gaze fixed on the dancing flames. His face was illuminated by the soft glow of the fire, highlighting his thoughtful expression. I nudged him gently, offering him a toasted marshmallow. He accepted with a smile, his eyes meeting mine in a silent thank you.

As we sat there, toasting marshmallows and sharing stories, I felt a sense of belonging. Despite being far from my own world, I felt at home with the Brotherhood. Their warmth and camaraderie, their courage and spirit, had welcomed me into their fold. I realised then that our bond was not just borne out of shared adventures, but also the shared moments of peace and laughter, of quiet companionship by the fire under a sky full of stars.

This was more than an adventure. It was a journey of friendship and discovery, a journey that had only just begun.

[Timeskip to evening]

As the laughter and storytelling continued, I felt a strange sensation at the top of my head. The wing-like horns on my head began to vibrate, their iridescent glow growing brighter. I raised a hand to touch them through the hat, only to draw back as a wave of energy pulsed from them.

"What's happening?" I gasped, the ground beneath us starting to shake. Yugo turned to me, his eyes widening as he noticed the glow from my horns.

Before we could react, a swirling vortex of energy erupted from my horns, opening up a portal right in front of us. The force of the energy was so strong, it created a wind that sucked everything in its path into the portal.

"Y/N!" Yugo shouted, reaching out for me as we both were pulled towards the portal.

In a split second, we were engulfed by the portal, our surroundings changing from the familiar faces of the Brotherhood and the warm glow of the fire to the cold, disorienting void of the portal. We were falling again, but this time, we were falling together.

As we tumbled through the portal, I reached out, grabbing Yugo's hand. Despite the chaos around us, his hand was warm and reassuring, a lifeline amidst the uncertainty.

And just as quickly as it had opened, the portal closed behind us, depositing us onto solid ground. The sudden change left us dazed and disoriented.

As our surroundings came into focus, we realised we were no longer in the World of Twelve. Instead, we were back on Earth, in the middle of a busy city, the sounds of traffic and the hustle and bustle of people all around us.

We looked at each other, a mixture of surprise and relief in our eyes. We were back home, but our journey was far from over.
