They got to the small town of Rouvia and he change back.
He pull clothes from somewhere and dress.
"Ready?"
"People won't hate me would they?"
"No."
She take his hand and they walk out into the village.
"Rune it's good to see you again."
He wave at some people and people stare at her. She shift uncomfortable beside him.
"Relax. They are just curious because I'm normally by myself. A loner remember?"
She relax a little bit.
They stop at a cart that was carpets.
"Finally putting something into that house of yours?"the woman asked with a kind smile.
"Something like that."
"She's a pretty one. I'm Claure."
"Hollis nice to meet you."
"So what carpet do you want?"
"Something that's not too bright. And not white."
Claure chuckle and pull out a creame colour.
"This is nice,"Hollis said as she touch the carpet. "How much?"
Claure laugh. "We are not selling. We trade for something and in Rune's case he keep us safe and we try to hook him with someone though now we're trying to decorate his home."
"That's nice of you."
"He's our king so it's only right."
"I'm not a king Claure and I'll take this one."
"Keep denying it but you know. Its was nice meeting you Hollis."
"You too."
They move onto different stalls to buy chief and all that. He even buy a new bed. He has one but a bigger one will be better.
"Hungry?"
Her stomach grumble and she blush. "I think so."
He lead her to a saloon. It smell heavenly.
"Rune! What a surprise."
"Hey Gus."
"And you bring a woman."
"His future wife hopefully,"Hollis said playfully.
He look at her but she didn't pay him any attention.
"So what can I get ya?"
"Your best bowl of chicken stew."
"You're in luck cause it was almost finish. "
Rune sit in a booth and pull her on his lap.
"Future wife?"
"I was joking."
He turn her face to him. "Well I might take you up on that. I do need a wife."
She blush and gets a break when Gus place a large bowl on their table.
"Enjoy."
"Thank you."
"Eat."
"What about you?"
"I don't have to eat everyday."
She drink her soup silently as Rune draw circles on her thighs.
"OK I'm full." He look at the plate and was satisfied with the amount she drink. He take up the bowl and drink the rest.
"Ready to go?"
"Yes."
