Chapter 16

-Third person pov-

"Mom! How the heck are you here?" Jeonghan uttered in surprise and can't believe that his mother is standing in front of him right now. "Nice way to welcome your mom, baby." Yoon Mina, Jeonghan's mom said while playfully rolling her eyes. "Sorry mom, but where is dad?" Jeonghan asked his mom while taking up the luggage from her mom's hand and heading towards her room.

"He is a workaholic person. What do you expect from him?" Jeonghan's mother said with a little annoyed face. "And I missed my angel a lot so I had to take flight yesterday night." She said with a smile on her face. Jeonghan hugged her with a huge smile on his face. "I missed you much more mom." Jeonghan said and parted away from a lovely hug after a minute.

Mina seemed tensed up when some thought fled into her mind but sighed heavily as if she was relieved after looking the time on the clock. "Hannie, just remind me when it is 5:00 PM, well there is still two hours so till then I'll be taking rest upstairs." She said to her son while ruffling her son's long hair and then headed to her room.

Jeonghan sighed and marched towards kitchen do the dishes as the maid was not present today due to personal problems. He recalled his last night events where he and his cousin were enjoying their night to its fullest. The sudden call from Seungcheol and the most unexpected thing that happened was when Seungcheol with opened heartedly said Jeonghan to keep his headphones with him.

Jeongcheol can't help but smile a little at that silly thoughts while washing the dishes. It might be silly and little thing for someone but for Jeonghan it was the most beautiful thing to be given that too by his crush. Last night was a remarkable day in Jeonghan's calendar even though he refused to mark it as a important day on the calendar his cousin Eunha wouldn't listen and did what she wanted to do and marked the date on the calendar with the black marker and wrote 'headphones' in small handwriting.

Jeonghan had enough of Eunha yesterday, he couldn't bare the raillery coming out of her and the teasing looks that she lured on to him which made Jeonghan to blush hard. And literally he was resembling a tomato if that was possible. Then Eunha started to make up stories of Jeonghan and Seungcheol being happily married, this was last straw that she hit and within a minute she was there outside the gate pouting while begging Jeonghan to let her in and chanting 'sorry' like a mantra.

Jeonghan knew that made up stories of Eunha wouldn't be true that's for sure, atleast that's what he thought about. He chuckled at his thoughts and didn't realised it was already 4:50 PM. He didn't even noticed that he was finished with the dishes and was sitting on top of the dining table with the piled up thoughts in his mind.

He straight up went to upstairs and knocked on the closed door of his mother's room. He didn't get a  response and a hint of worriness rushed over him. He exhaled the breath which he was holding once he heard the doorknob getting unlocked. He was surprised to see his mom all dressed up fancily. "Mom, are you heading somewhere?" Jeonghan asked his mom while looking at her outfit which denoted it was oblivious a outing dress.

"Yes baby going to my bestfriend's house, she thought I would reach here next week because that's what I said so I wanted to plan a suprise. And mister you are coming too." Jeonghan's mom retorted while pushing his son lightly to his room for a dress up. "But mom where? I ain't coming to place which I don't know and ofcourse I'll make a fool of myself being awkward there." Jeonghan searched up for an excuse damn knowing his mother wouldn't budge to a nonsense reason. But still he didn't give up and tried another reason to come up with.

"Mom, tomorrow there is two notes submission and I didn't even complete a one notes yet. If you take me somewhere I would literally be kicked out of the class next day." Jeonghan said while slightly pleading in his voice. "Who are you trying to fool baby? Tomorrow is Sunday remember?" Yoon Mina said while twisting Jeonghan's right ear and leaving it after some seconds to burn it with red. Jeonghan cutely glared at his mom while rubbing his ear.

Jeonghan had no choice but to come out of the room with the outfit his mother choose him to wear. "Look at my gorgeous son, each and everyone would be on their knees to be your lover." Yoon Mina said while winking at her son which Jeonghan whined at his teasing mother. "Now tell me atleast whose home we are heading too." Jeonghan whined at his mom while walking on the road. He was really annoyed that his mom suggested that walking was better than taking their car just to reach a miles away.

"Well my only bestfriend since highschool Choi Jiwoo."
