Chapter 18

-Third person pov-

Nayeon was tracing her dog down the street that she didn't even realise how far she had came already. She started chasing her Julie breed dog from gangam street but ended up chasing her dog till street 17. She stopped for minute as she has been running continuously and was panting hard that her breathing could be heard to anyone roaming around the street.

She saw her pet being picked up by someone from a mile away. After catching her breathing she was about to scold the stranger whose back was facing for picking up her dog. She was already a bit pissed for by her pet's behaviour and now it was like adding fuel to the fire because she never let her only favourite dog to be taken up by anyone. She was very possessive over the things she loved.

"Hey you! Why were petting my daughter?" Nayeon asked the stranger while approaching him. As soon as the stranger turned back to find the owners of the voice Nayeon stood stupefied. It was her crush, Choi Seungcheol and her dog in his arms. "Your daughter? Oh you mean your dog. She was running away and her lashes got stuck to the pole so I just had to release her, well take care of her." Seungcheol said while handing the dog to Nayeon.

"What were you doing here?" Nayeon asked him trying to make the conversation. "Should I not come here or something?" Seungcheol asked while sitting on the bench where he was sitting earlier. "No no, that's not what I meant." Nayeon said while sitting beside him. "I mean this is popularly known as lovers street and you being here in this street is something unbelievable." Nayeon spoke again.

"I'm glad that I am unbelievable then, if you don't have any business here you can leave, I have better important things to do than to chat with you." Seungcheol said in a pissed off tone. "Are you waiting for someone?" Nayeon asked curiously. She was already down bad and eager to kill the person Seungcheol is waiting for now. "Doesn't matter if I'm waiting for someone or not as far as I know the person I'm waiting for is not you."

"That was rude of you Seungcheol, but the person you are waiting for seems to be late to approach you, so can we both have a snacks together?" Nayeon asked him in a confident tone. "Don't worry about me Nayeon the person I'm waiting for might come any time soon." Seungcheol said while assuring Nayeon with his words. "Well, how long have you been waiting for her?" Nayeon asked Seungcheol. 'It's not her but him'. Seungcheol thought in his mind.

"Maybe be an half hour, not too long." Seungcheol said while roaming his eyes on the people passing by the bridge which was a mile away from them as he was feeling bored with the conversation they were having now. Even though Seungcheol would admit without any hesitation that the girl sitting beside him was beautiful but not more than Yoon Jeonghan. In his eyes Jeonghan's beauty was out of the world. He would even blurt out non-existent words just to praise gorgeous Jeonghan.

"Seungcheol are you listening to me? Are you fucking kidding me? You have been waiting for her since an half hour? And it is not too long? Are you the real Seungcheol I have known for a year now? Your patience was so thin like a thread, what happened now?" Nayeon asked him with a tones of questions which had a hard time for adjusting all the questions in his brain.
"Nayeon, it's not too long okay. I don't think the person is going to show up sooner. Is your snack offer still up?" Seungcheol asked her.

Nayeon was startled by the sudden and unexpected question coming from him. "Let's go then, there is my favourite restaurant nearby and don't worry about the money it's on me as I'm treating you." She said while dragging Seungcheol who was not sure of his decision he took right now and literally was in his dilemma stage but couldn't express it out loud. If people saw both of them together, they would definitely mistake for them being lovers.

They both failed to notice the gloomy eyes watching both of their actions from afar. The happiness and the ecstatic joy was thrown out once the eyes caught the glimpse of two people being together. The eyes held so much of emotions that couldn't be expressed in words. The eyes held the disappointment and anguish emotion. Crystal tears started building inside the person's eyes and it had already started falling.

-Jeonghan's pov-

I didn't had a hard time explaining the situation to anyone as I came up with a little lie and got out of Seungcheol's house. I started walking towards the 17 street where Seungcheol wanted me to meet. Just the mere thought about him would make me blush and shit. He don't even have a bit idea about him controlling my heart. I was imagining things to happen once we both meet up in 'lovers street'.

While I was walking on the road I felt someone pushing me from behind and I stumbled a little. I would have been on the ground if I didn't had the ability to balance myself. I turned around to look at the person but I was startled because it was surprising to see Joshua in this evening as he seems to be a out going person only in the morning.

-Third person pov-

"What the fuck Joshua?" Jeonghan asked him with a angry tone. "Nothing just wanted to have fun." Joshua said while smirking. "Have fun? Go have it with someone I'm busy right now and leave me the fuck alone." Jeonghan said and started walking again. "Literally a bitch." Joshua muttered in his breath but was heard by Jeonghan. He turned and gave a glare to Joshua and came towards him and slapped his cheeks. "You calling me bitch really Joshua? I was minding my own business unlike you meddling in others stuff." Jeonghan said with anger.

"You fucking slapped me?" Joshua was about to slap Jeonghan but Jeonghan was fast to held up his hand and twisting it a bit causing a slight irritation and pain to Joshua. Now  Jeonghan had turned Joshua arround and kept his right hand which was about to slap him back and whispered, "if you want your hands stable and good don't raise it on me, if you want it broken that bad I can do it in a minute." Jeonghan said and let Joshua's hand to be free and he started walking again.

He knew he was late to meet Seungcheol so he went to a shop to buy Seungcheol's favourite chocolate again so he could apologize for being late. He started ended up running a little to reach the particular place faster. As he reached 17 street he started searching for Seungcheol and found him after a second, but he was not pleased as he saw Seungcheol talking to someone to his bad it was Nayeon.

Jeonghan's legs were now stuck to the ground like a glue his didn't know what to do. He saw them talking to eachother and a thought fled over Jeonghan if Seungcheol had called him up to meet is just an excuse to witness Seungcheol and Nayeon being happy and acting like couple. Even though Nayeon is a friend of Jeonghan, he can't help but feel jealous. He was aware and knew he shouldn't feel this way.

He felt the urge to push Nayeon from the bench they were sitting and fetch Seungcheol from there, but he wouldn't do that. He was enraged by Seungcheol's behaviour towards him. He thought they would meet up and have a nice evening while chatting but this wasn't what he wanted to witness.
He didn't his tears fall even when he saw Seungcheol smiling at Nayeon. He didn't want to breakdown in the middle of the street.

Jeonghan saw Nayeon grabbing Seungcheol and dragging him somewhere and that was the last line for him as his tears started rolling down his cheeks he literally broke down there but his muffled cries were very silent he felt his legs go weak and felt dizziness as he kept his both hands on his head to get rid of the sudden headache that took over him. He wanted to scream but the lump in his throat wouldn't let him.

He blinked the tears away and tried to find the accurate vision in front of his eyes but he again failed to find the normal view as his vision seemed to be blur. The sounds of birds chirping and chattering of the people seemed to disappear. His legs became so weak that he fell on his knees. He felt his body touching the ground and last thing he saw before everything was blacking out was a old lady rushing towards him with the worries and Jeonghan's eyes were closed.
