ENVY YOU

Chapter 7

-Seungcheol pov-

I had been scrolling on my phone for a hour and now I'm getting bored. I looked outside the window of my room and saw starts shining brightly,  the night sky is brilliant with stars. I have always been fond of sky at night. Not that I hate sky in the morning but night sky is like dwell on the beauty of life.

I walked down the stairs while wearing black sweatshirt and black  baggy pant and entered our living room and opened the to step outside but remembered something.

"Mom, I'm going for walk" I nearly screamed because my mom was in kitchen which a bit far from my huge living room. "Ok! take care of yourself"  my mom said.

I walked outside and felt myself having a big smile on my face as the beautiful sky view came infront of me. I was walking on the side of the road and then closed my eyes feeling the sudden   touch of the cold wind. It was like some magical feeling risen up inside me, I scratched back of my neck feeling silly for my thoughts. I shrugged and walked on the road which was totally empty and made me feel happy because of the peace in my way.

I walked towards the nearby park and saw that gate was closed then I claimed and jumped inside the park. I'm a bit stubborn I know, but this place at night hits different.

As I was walking I heard someone climbing up the gate so I turned to see. There was a girl maybe my age wearing pink hoodie and night pants. I couldn't see her face as she was looking down. I saw her struggling  so I went near her extended my hand so she could hold it jump down then she thanked me.

I was mesmerized by her face. She was so beautiful and her smile was like a cherry on top. I took a minute to examine her face. She had long eyelashes like me, hypnotising eyes which I was already hypnotized, pinkish lips were too cute, I felt myself wanting to squeeze her rosy cheeks but need to control myself for the sake that we both are strangers, Her whole aura screams 'pretty'.

"Why are you alone at night?" I asked her. "Actually, I came for walk and felt like coming to this park so yeah here I am" she he said slightly chuckling. "Same case as me then" I said smiling at her as we walked side by side. "I'm Eunha by the way and you?" She asked me. "I'm Seungcheol" I said. "Which university are you from?" I asked her.
"I go to Hanyang University" She said.
"So I have a competition" I joked because our University and Hanyang University don't get along well. "So, I'm guessing you are from Princeton University then?" She asked me raising her one eyebrow. 'That look was hot' I thought in my mind and then brushed that thought off my mind. "Yes, you are right" I said.

Being a introvert it's hard to make conversation, I'm feeling bad for her as we didn't talk for some minutes. At first it was comfortable silent, now it's getting awkward.

"Do you have girlfriend or boyfriend?" She asked me. "Uh, no I'm only focusing on studies and ofcourse I don't have time for that." I said sliding my hands in my pocket. "Tsk, you are boring then" she said in a bored tone.
"Hey! I'm not boring" I defended myself. "Ok! So say what is love?" She asked me. "Love is magical, an emotion that we can't control, one that overwhelms logic and common sense. Feeling of that you are on top of the world when other person cherishes you, when they spoil you with love, and the bond gets stronger each and every day if the love between two person is mutual and unconditional.

"Oh my god Seungcheol, how do you know all this things like a poet even if you don't have a lover?" She asked me. "I read romantic novels, that's the reason I know about this." I said casually. "But when you were talking about love, I felt you have someone special with you. Boy, tell me atleast you have a crush" she whined. I chuckled at her. "I don't have that too" I said scrunching my nose. "I'm a love genius boy, I can clearly tell you are lieing to yourself." She said annoying.  Then I saw her getting away from. "Hey! Wait where are you going" I exclaimed. "I'm not going anywhere just going near the benches to sit, let's talk there come." She said and went near bench and sat on it. I followed her and did the same.
