this chapter was written while watching bLuEy :)
Micah and his sister were at it again, this time arguing about whether I was healed up enough to go on this quest I hadn't even agreed to yet! In the end, they called in a doctor to decide for them. The doctor said I could go, but first I had to sign some waiver saying they weren't responsible if I the stiches get infected or something. I thought that was a little odd considering the fact that doctors are supposed to care for me. I didn't care enough to refuse to sign the waiver, so I did it, and Ivy took me down to the lobby to sign some release forms. While I was doing that she went to go start up her car. When I was done I grabbed my bag, then Micah and I walked out to the parking lot. "Which car is hers?" I asked him. "It's a blue convertible, she got it last week." he answered. We looked for about half an hour When we finally found it we ran over to her parking space. "What took so long?" she said, with a smug smirk. "Unlike you we didn't drive here, so we obviously wouldn't know where you parked!" Micah said angrily. "Maybe next time you could actually tell us where to find your car!" He started to open the passenger door and hop in but Ivy stopped him. "Who said you're coming with me in MY car," she said as if it were obvious. "You're going to get it dirty."
"Then why did you wait for us?!" Micah asked angered by her rule.
"So I could see your face when I told you," She said in an as-a-matter-of-fact tone, "Duh!" She hopped out and walked around to the trunk. She opened it and pulled out two bikes, one a dark forest-y green, and one bright red. "No way we're biking all the way home when we could just ride with you!" Micah said. "My car, my rules," Ivy said, "I get to decide who I let in my car." She got back in the drivers seat and drove away, leaving us standing there with the bikes.
'UGHH!" Micah yelled, "She is soooooo annoying!" I felt so awkward as aa bystander to their fighting. Though I couldn't remember it, I felt that I had never had a sibling before, their fighting just felt alien to me.
"It's fine," I said, "At least now you won't argue with her the entire time,"
"We do NOT argue all the time," He said, offended, "I can't understand how you would thin-
"WHATEVER! Let's just go already, it doesn't matter, she's gone!" I hopped on the green bike and rode. I was a good 4 meters (about 4 yards) away, when I looked back and saw Micah, way behind me, still trying to get his kickstand up. I stopped and waited for him to finally catch up.
"HOW DID YOU GET SO FAR AHEAD OF ME!111!?!?!?!?1" He yelled at the top of his lungs when he caught up.
"Ummm, I guess I'm just good at biking?" I said, unsure of how to respond. From then on, I kind of paced myself to stay by him.
