Main character wants to be the main character but she doesn't know that she already is. She has tons of amazing opportunities - one of them being a really nice guy (gender can be anythingyou want. This is a placeholder), yet she pushes him away because "he's to good to her," and she wants someone who will treat her wrong so that she can have her origin story (it broke his heart). Little does she know that this IS her origin story. When she finally realises the life that she's thrown away, all the good people she's hurt - it's already too late. The damage is done.
