By me.
Transfer student meets stereotypical player who tries to rizz them up, however, the new student genuinely does not care. The player will do things like say "This ones for you girls," and then wink at the crowd before getting a slam dunk, but the transfer student would just roll their eyes. If the player would call out to them and say a pickup line or try to show off, the transfer student would just be weirded out and say smth like, "okay...?" After a while of this, the player starts to actually kinda catch feelings for them, not because they're "tHe OnLy oNe WhO dOeSn'T CaRe," but because they genuinely admire the transfer student. The player cares about the transfer student's interests and likes their personality (they see it when the ts talks to their friends).
Neutral ending: The transfer student is aware that the player is... well, a player. Because of this, they think that the player is just... playing them. The player never wins their affection because they built up a bad reputation by playing with other people's feelings. This ending has a moral and a meaning to it. It's like the boy who cried wolf. Your actions have consequences, and if you fake something enough, no one will believe you when you mean it.
Romance ending: The player's flirting lessens, and their compliments become more meaningful. The player asks the transfer student about their interests because they genuinely care. As this is happening, the transfer student notices a difference in how the player is acting around them, and how they actually seem genuine and warm. They stay stubborn for a while, thinking that it might be a trap, but one day, when the player asks about an interest that they have, the transfer student actually answers. As they talk, the player asks more questions about it, and soon the transfer student is talking animatedly about something they love. The transfer student is happy (in a warm and fuzzy kind of way), and they feel that they can trust the player a bit more. Slowly, over time, their romance blossoms and they get together.
Author's Note:
This one was inspired by those old dumb cliché love stories that you would find in some random gacha video back in 2018. My friend dared me to try fixing it up. Sorry it's so long - they'll all be pretty long (for a prompt anyway) because I wanted to describe them with a lot of details. Ik this is obvious, but you really don't have to follow the EXACT things I wrote. Feel free to alter it however you like.
