Lynn and JJ hadn't slept that night, they were up all night not realizing it, because they were just talking. They never ran out of things to talk about, no matter how random their conversations were, they always shared their thoughts with each other.
"Hey you wanna go take the boat out before everyone wakes up?" He whispered to her and she nodded.
Lynn got out of the hammock first quietly, then JJ followed, but he accidentally flipped out of it. Lynn stared at him as both her and JJ laughed so hard no sound was coming out. She helped him up as they both laughed, walking towards the dock. When they got down there they both froze seeing Lindey and Rafe. The two were both asleep on the dock, their hands slightly touching. The two step over them and get on the boat quietly, pulling out and through the marsh not saying anything.
"I have a feeling she's shutting down again," Lynn sighed, referring to her sister.
"Why?" He genuinely asked, turning the boat off, letting the wind take it.
"I could tell last night, after she cried, I could see it in her eyes," Lynn nodded.
"She'll be okay, I promise, shit like this will happen, especially with people like her, we both know that," JJ touched the girls arm and she nodded.
"Thank you JJ," She smiled, and laid her head on his shoulder.
The two watched the sun come up fully, the beautiful pink, orange, and yellow sky faded into a light blue. Lynn was happy she got to experience that with him, it was a certain natural beauty that feels so special to feel with someone you care about. Lindey woke up because she heard the boat coming back and watched it slowly pull in.
"Good morning," She spoke to the two in the boat, guarding her eyes with her hand.
"Morning!" Lynn smiled at her sister walking out of the boat.
"You wanna go get breakfast?" Lindey smiled at the both of them and they both nodded.
Lindey started walking off the dock and Rafe slowly woke up, staring at the two that were still standing there.
"Morning Rafe," JJ chuckled and he nodded, closing his eyes again.
JJ and Lynn followed behind Lindey and watched her walk into the house, slightly confused why.
"Hey could I borrow the keys to the Twinkie?" Lindey spoke quietly to John B because Sarah was still asleep.
"Yeah, sure, the keys are on the kitchen counter," He smiled, and she nodded.
"Thank ya," She went and grabbed them, then went back outside where her sister and JJ were.
They all got into the van and drove to The Wreck, seeing Kiara's car, meaning she was working today. They all got out and walked inside, seating themselves, Lindey making eye contact with Kiara, bringing her a smile.
"Hey ladies, can I start you off with some drinks?" She gave a really fake southern accent.
"Well, since you asked so politely, I would love a Coke with a lemon in it," Lindey gave a really botched British accent, and Lynn just stared at the two.
"Anyway, I want a Coke too please," Lynn laughed, shaking her head.
"You guys have Pepsi products? Just to piss these two off," JJ asked, and Kiara rolled her eyes playfully.
"Yeah, down the street, where you can't afford, Coke?" Kiara replied, causing Ireland to laugh.
"Would be perfect," He rolled his eyes, and she walked off, "What's with the lemon?"
