Sierra's Pov
Sierra woke up at seven in the morning for her first day of college even though her first class was at nine. She was so excited she woke up filled with so much eagerness. When she opened her eyes she immediately got up to get ready. She made some tea, took a shower, did her daily skin care, put on her carefully picked-out outfit from the night before. When she was done getting ready Lilian had made breakfast for the two of them. Sierra and Lilian ate together and talked about their hopes and expectations for the day. Sierra was slightly sad since her favorite class, English, was the last class of the day. They have discussed this day for so long and now it is finally here. Sierra gathered her stuff and she and Lilian left to go to their first day of class.
Dean's Pov
Dean was not thrilled about school at all; he woke up at seven-forty, which was twenty minutes before his first class started. As soon as he opened his eyes he loudly groaned and rolled his eyes. He groggily got out of bed and stumbled into the bathroom, brushed his teeth and his face, he lazily applied moisturizer. He put on something random which happened to be a hoodie and sweatpants, and headed towards the dorm's kitchen. He grabbed an apple and his bag, then he headed towards the door. Thomas said something to him that Dean barely heard him. Instead of asking Thomas to repeat it he just waved and grunted something like "mmm."
Sierra's Pov
The school day was just about over and Sierra was very excited about going to her favorite class, english. She hoped she would enjoy English as much as she did all 13 years of school prior. She entered the classroom with a smile on her face. She picked a seat closer to the front and took out a notebook and her planner and waited patiently for class to start.
"Hello class, I am your professor. My name is Dr. Megan Holt. I have been a professor for fifteen years and I have a doctorate in English Literature."
Dr. Holt continued on about herself and the class and the expectations. Before class ended she wanted students to introduce themselves and to make a big announcement. Sierra was excited but scared for what Dr. Holt wanted to announce that it partly shifted her focus from what the professor was saying.
Dean's Pov
Dean sat in the back of his last class of the day. He was exhausted and so over the day. First he hated english and he was more upset because he should have taken this class last year but he pushed it off and now he is a sophomore in a mostly freshman class. He was half asleep most of the class until the teacher was picking students one by one to introduce themselves. She called on a few people then she picked a girl from the front
"Hi, my name is Sierra Evans! I am nineteen and a freshman. I am double majoring in english and history because I want to work at a museum one day!" the girl introduced herself cheerfully.
Dean thought the name sounded familiar so did the voice. He remembered who she was and instantly sighed and rolled his eyes. The super cheerful waitress from the cafe a few days ago. A few more people were called on until it was Dean's turn.
Sierra's Pov
Sierra instantly sat up and paid attention when the professor began picking people to introduce themselves. A few people were called and introduced themselves and then Sierra was called on.
"Hi, my name is Sierra Evans! I am nineteen and a freshman. I am double majoring in english and history because I want to work at a museum one day!" Sierra said cheerfully.
The professor nodded to Sierra approvingly and kept on calling people and then she called on a tired looking dark-haired boy from the back row.
"Uhh my name is Dean Taylor, I'm twenty a sophomore. I'm from Seattle and I like math and science and stuff. I want to be a mechanical engineer. Uhh yeah." The boy said carelessly.
