Brian: * driving *
Dani: I can't believe you're taking me with you again dad, I already told you that I'm not doing this bullshit
Brian: okay first of all language and second I'll need backup, you're my best bet
Dani: okay but can we do this really fast please because I have homework
Brian: * chuckles * you sound just like your mother
Dani: * smile's a little *
Brian: * parks the car * alright we're here
Brian & Dani: * gets out of the car *
Dani: * sighs heavily *
Brian: don't worry we'll get through this
Dani: hopefully
Brian & Dani: * hears glass shattered and looks up to see a man hanging from the building *
Dani: holy shit
Brian: come on let's go
Brian & Dani: * quickly runs into the apartment complex *
Dani: * pulls out her knife that Nate got her on her 15th birthday *
Brian & Dani: * walks in and see's Dom holding the guy *
Brian: bring him up Dom, bring him up
Dom: you here to take me in O'Connor
The Guy: oh shit, oh shit
Dom: SHUT UP!!!
Dani: * panics a little *
Brian: Letty was my friend too
Dom: you weren't anybody's friend
Brian: she was running with this guy, Braga and things went bad, now let me do my job and bring him up
Dani: look if I were you, I would listen to my dad
Dom: I'm gonna kill this "Braga" and anyone else who gets in my way * drops the guy *
Brian: * quickly grabs him *
Dom: * speaks softly * if I were you kid, I would stay out of this * walks out *
Dani: should I go after him, dad
Brian: * pulls the guy up * naw, what he tell you
Dani: * laughs a little * that i would stay out of this

Penning: O'Connor, you're up, bring your daughter Dani with you as well, she'll be useful as well
Brian: I know that my daughter doesn't want to do any of this but you think I was gonna leave her
Penning: I wasn't doubting you
Trinh: let me guess winner takes the slot
Brian: * laughs a little *
Trinh: how has she been doing lately since you know what happened that day
Brian: * sighs softly * honestly she's trying to keep everything together and getting on track but not making progress...she really loved him and misses him so much that brings her so much memories of the good times they had together
Penning: she's a tough kid O'Connor...she'll make it through

In the other room with Dani

Dani: * staring at her knife *

Flashback

Jason & Dani: * walking around and holding hands *
Dani: this happens to be the best 15th birthday I've ever had
Jason: well I'm glad you enjoyed it
Dani: * kisses him *
Jason: * kisses back *
Dani: * smile's *
Jason: I actually have a present for you
Dani: is that so
Jason: yes
Dani: well what is it
Jason: * pulls out a wrapped box * here see it for yourself
Dani: * unwraps the box and opens it * a knife
Jason: what do you think
Dani: it's so beautiful but I don't think my dad will approve of that
Jason: it doesn't matter if he approves the gift I got you, plus I think you'll need for protection somehow
Dani: * giggles softly *

Brian: hey Dani
Dani: * looks at him *
Brian: come in here
Dani: * puts her knife away and walks in the room * so I guess that means I get to help the police, yay me
Brian: hey at least you get your own car, no more riding with me
Dani: another yay me
Brian: I know you don't like this Dani but please just do this for me and you won't do this ever again okay
Dani: * nods softly *
