The Life of Dani O'Connor

Chapter two

Brian: * staring at Mia *
Mia: * reading a travel guide *
Brian: * leans on the table * what are you reading
Mia: travel guide
Brian: yeah
Mia: hmmm
Brian: * takes the book from her hands and starts to read through it * Tokyo, Moscow, Goa
Mia: you want to know what all these places have in common
Brian: huh
Mia: no extradition
Brian: * smile's and kisses her *
Mia: * kisses back *
Brian: do you think Dani's okay
Mia: she can handle herself, Brian
Brian: I just don't want her to get hurt
Mia: hey she'll be okay...I promise
Brian: * nods softly *

A TTE walks through the doors that they need to get through

Mia: here we go * get up from her seat *
Brian: * follows behind her *

He notices the agents badges that he walks past, this isn't a simple deal. Something serious is going on. But Brian decides to ignore it unless they make a move.

Mia: * bumps into the TTE and makes it look like an accident * com licença, desculpe * holding his shoulders to keep his attention on her making it look like he was helping her balance *
Brian: * takes his key card and copied it into his phone *
Mia: * walks off *
Brian: excuse me, buddy * pats the guy on the shoulder and walks off *

He meets Mia by the doors to the freighter we need to get into. When he gets there he pulls out his phone and a blank card to copy the coding onto. He copied it onto it and gives Mia the card.

Brian: * hands the card to her * okay
Mia: * scans the card through the reader and luckily it went through *
Brian & Mia: * walks in the room to see three outlines of cars that are covered by sheets *
Brian: * calls Vince * hey we found them, yeah second to the last freighter

As they did this, Vince and Dani along with the crew were side-by-side with the train on an Oshkosh, attempting to cut through the side of the train car to make a big enough opening to fit the cars through. Their plan was to get the cars on the Oshkosh, then reverse off the truck and drive to the designated drop-off spot with the stolen cars.

Brian: * breaks the glass where the keys were and looks at them with frowned eyebrows *
Mia: what, what is it
Brian: DEA tags, these cars have been seized

After pulling the covers off the cars, Brian and Mia grabbed their pocket knives out and began to cut the safety belts that were keeping the cars secure in the train. Once that was finished, they stood and waited for Vince and Dani along with the crew to
complete their job. They attached a cable to the freshly cut portion of metal and with a quick turn of the Oshkosh, the former wall went flying. Each member of the crew ducked in just enough time to avoid being hit by it. When the dust cleared, Mia couldn't help but smile.

Dom: * standing right next to Vince *
Dani: * runs towards them * momma, dad
Brian & Mia: * hugs Dani tightly *
Dani: * hugs them back *
Dom: Dani, it's only been a day
Mia: * shakes her head with a smile and pulls away from the hug * are you okay
Dani: yeah I'm good
Brian: were you good for Dom
Dani: * nods *
Brian: * kisses her head * that's good
Dani: it was the longest day of my life, I didn't even see him smile, laugh for a whole day...it was the worse day of my life
Mia: * chuckles *
Dom: I thought I told you to lay low
Brian: been running on low fumes, had to make a call
Zizi: hey quit talking we only got a two minute window
Dani: you could say please too, it works wonders
Zizi: * rolls his eyes *
Dom: let's go Vince
Vince: * nods and enters the first car *

The other men put cables underneath the car, securing it so it could safely be moved from the train to the Oshkosh.

Zizi: estou levando o GT40
Dom: * looks at him *
Dani: * smirks and shakes her head *

Zizi yelled to the man driving the Oshkosh M977 side-by-side with the train. The driver pressed a button and it jerked Vince's car to the side, stopping on the bed of the Oshkosh. The bed lowered, allowing Vince to reverse off of it and drive away. It was supposed to be Zizi's turn, but when he went to take a step forward

Dom: * puts his arm out * ladies first
Zizi: * narrows his eyes at him *
Mia: * looks at Dani *
Dani: * nods towards the back of the train and mouths * go that way
Mia: * nods and walks over to the GT40 *
Zizi's men: * takes a step forward to prevent Mia from getting in the GT40 *
Brian: * quickly walks over to him and pushes him back *
Dani: dad don't
Mia: hey esse carro combina melhor comigo
Dani: Nice one momma
Mia: * smile's at her *
Dani: so what's the deal, you gonna let my momma have the cars or are we going have to break your necks and then get the car
Zizi: * bites his lips and nods at his friend a nonverbal cue that it was okay for them to
proceed *
Mia: * gets in the car and turns it on and gently pressed on the gas pulling the car forward *
Brian: * taps on the window * see ya, baby
Dani: bye momma
Mia: * smile's at them *
Zizi: * begins to get the car set up and looks at his friend * hey está tudo bem...vamos todos para o mesmo lugar
Dom: * walks over to the GT40 and looks through the window * change of plan, wait for my call
Mia: * nods *
Brian & Dani: * looks at each other *
Dom: * looks over at Zizi *
Mia: * grips the steering wheel tightly *

Everyone cleared the way and the Oshkosh driver pressed a button, pulling the GT40 onto the bed of the Oshkosh. Mia lets out a shaky breath as the bed of the Oshkosh slowly started to tilt backwards. Once it was finished, Mia puts the car in reverse and quickly drove off the bed. Instead of following the original instructions, Mia yanked the steering wheel to the right and turned around, driving in the direction Dom had told her to. When Zizi saw her going the wrong way, his blood began to boil

Zizi: * turns around to them * WHERE IS SHE GOING!!!
Dani: no need to yell, god we're right here

One of the men tried to attack Brian but he anticipated it and he threw the first punch. Before he could retaliate, Dom held the man against the wall

Brian & Dani: * looks at him *
Dom: * gives them the " I got this " face *
Brian & Dani: * runs over to the opening of the train *
Dani: dad...
Brian: I know baby, I know
Brian & Dani: * takes a deep breath and grabs each other's hand *

They both jumped, just barely landing on the Oshkosh, only holding on by the rope that was dangling on the truck's bed.
