I stared. The person who had been my best friend-my savier-had left be one rainy morning. 

Now he was here?! I scanned my eyes over him, than noticed the sign of a spider on his arm. 

" Jayden- " I began saying but he interupted me. " Ben, do not make me want to do this anymore than i do " Jayden said, gritting his teeth. " wa- " I said, but I didn't have time to finish what I was saying as I felt a cloth thrown into my mouth and just as i went unconsious, I heard him whisper in my ear. " Sorry buddy, but I have to do this-or ... or sophie's gone. "

I opened my eyes, still woozy from the cloth. I saw Jayden speaking to...Joshua hallal?! Than, as if he knew I was awake and looking at him he turned around and smiled. " Ben, Ben, finally made it here...in time didn't you? " Joshua said, tapping his robotic leg. " I tried to speak but he swiped a stick in front of my mouth. " do NOT speak unless I tell you " he said while whispering something to Jayden, than watching him scamper off.
