AKSHU'S BEDROOM - MORNING
The room is filled with excitement as Akshu, a glowing soon-to-be mother, sits in front of a vanity mirror. Her sisters, Aarohi, Krishna and Muskan are bustling around, helping her get ready for her godbharai (baby shower).
AKSHU (smiling)- I can't believe it's finally here – my godbharai! I'm so grateful to have all of you with me.
AAROHI (teasingly)- Well, you better believe it, Akshu. We've been planning this for weeks!
KRISHNA (nodding) -And we're not letting you off easy. Today is all about celebrating you and the little one on the way.
MUSKAN (holding a gorgeous outfit) -Now, let's find the perfect outfit for you. Something that makes you feel like the queen that you are.
They all gather around as Akshu tries on different outfits, sharing laughter and joy. After finding the perfect ensemble, they move on to the finishing touches – jewelry, makeup, and a tiara fit for a godbharai queen.
LIVING ROOM - SAME TIME
Downstairs, the atmosphere is equally festive. Manjari, is busy arranging flowers with Mahima, while Swarna, Gayu, and Surekha are preparing a lavish spread of sweets and snacks for the guests.
MANJARI (smiling) -This godbharai is a special day for our family. Everything should be perfect for Akshu.
MAHIMA (adjusting flowers)-Manjari. The decorations need to reflect the joy and anticipation we all feel.
AKSHU'S BEDROOM - LATER
Akshu is now fully ready, and her sister step back to admire her.
AAROHI (teary-eyed)- You look absolutely stunning, Akshu. The baby is going to be blessed with the most beautiful mom.
AKSHU (hugging Aarohi)- Thank you all for making this day so memorable. Now, let's go celebrate!
As they go downstairs, the scene transitions to the joyous chaos of the godbharai celebration, where family and friends gather to shower Akshu with love and blessings for the new chapter in her life.
GODBHARAI CELEBRATION - AFTERNOON
The sun bathes the house in a warm glow as the godbharai celebration is in full swing. Akshu, adorned in her radiant attire, descends the staircase, drawing gasps of admiration from the guests. Among the crowd, Abhi stands transfixed, mesmerized by his wife's beauty accentuated by the pregnancy glow.
ABHI (whispering to himself)- Wow, she's absolutely breathtaking.
Akshu catches Abhi's gaze, and a knowing smile passes between them. Abhi approaches her, gently taking her hands in his.
ABHI (whispering to Akshu)- You look like a goddess today. I can't believe how lucky I am.
AKSHU (teasingly)- Well, someone's getting all romantic today.
ABHI
(grinning)- Can you blame me? You're stunning.
They share a tender moment before being interrupted by the sound of laughter and chatter.
Abhi, Neil, Ansh, Kairav, Manish, Harsh, Anand, along with other male family members, approach the ladies who are engaged in animated conversation. Aarohi, Krishna, Muskan, Mahima, and Manjari are among them.
ABHI (enthusiastically)- Ladies, we were thinking it would be great if you could join us for the godbharai. It's a celebration, and we'd love to have everyone together.
AAROHI (smiling)- That's sweet, but this is traditionally a ladies-only function. We've got everything under control here.
NEIL (playfully)- Come on, Aarohi, it's not like we're planning to take over. We just want to be a part of the festivities.
