The next morning Akshu was pacing around the bathroom, biting her nails, fidgeting with her dress. When suddenly her eyes widen by looking at her hand holding something.
Akshu's heart raced as she held the pregnancy test in her hands, the two pink lines visible. She couldn't suppress her excitement, but she wanted to share the news with Abhi in a special way. She decided to make it a fun, memorable moment for both of them.
She walked into the kitchen, where Abhi was humming a tune as he prepared breakfast. The aroma of coffee and freshly toasted bread filled the air. Akshu watched him for a moment, a plan forming in her mind.
Akshu- "Morning, Abhi"
she said, her voice light and cheerful as she approached him.Abhi turned, smiling at her.
Abhi- "Good morning, Akshu. You seem extra happy today. What's going on?"
Akshu grinned mischievously.
Akshu- "I thought we could play a little game. Are you up for it?"Abhi raised an eyebrow, intrigued.
Abhi- "A game? Sure, I'm always up for a game. What's the plan?"
Akshu reached into her pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper.
Akshu- "I'm going to ask you a series of questions. If you answer correctly, you'll get a clue. And if you solve all the clues, you'll get a special surprise."
Abhi's curiosity was piqued.
Abhi- "Alright, this sounds fun. What's the first question?"
Akshu cleared her throat, trying to keep a straight face.
Akshu- "Question one: What's something that comes in pairs, often brings joy, and sometimes keeps people up at night?"
Abhi chuckled, thinking for a moment.Abhi- "Hmm, let's see... Could it be twins?"
Akshu laughed, shaking her head.
Akshu- "No, but good guess. Try again"
Abhi- "Give me some other clue."
Akshu- "Okay, They are tiny and when they wear anklets it make the sweetest sound."Abhi- "Baby Feet Isn't it."
Akshu- "Yes, The answer is 'baby feet.' Here's your first clue."
She handed him a small piece of paper with the word 'baby' written on it.
Abhi looked at the clue, a puzzled expression on his face.
Abhi- "Baby feet, huh? Alright, hit me with the next question."
Akshu- "Question two: What grows bigger with time, starts with a 'b,' and can be a sign of something wonderful?"
Abhi scratched his head, pondering the question.
Abhi- "A belly?"
Akshu's eyes sparkled with excitement.
Akshu- "Correct! Here's your second clue."
She handed him another piece of paper with the word 'bump' on it.
Abhi looked at the two clues, starting to piece them together.
Abhi- "Baby bump... Hmm, interesting."
Akshu- "Okay, last question,"
Akshu said, her voice trembling slightly with anticipation.Akshu- "What is something that is shared between two people, created with love, and changes their lives forever?"
Abhi's eyes widened as realization began to dawn on him.
Abhi- "A baby?"
Akshu beamed, nodding eagerly.
Akshu- "Yes! And here's your final clue."
She handed him the pregnancy test with the two pink lines visible.
Abhi stared at the test, his mouth falling open in surprise. He looked up at Akshu, his eyes filling with tears of joy.
Abhi- "Akshu, are you... Are we...?"
She nodded, tears streaming down her face.
Akshu- "Yes, Abhi. We're going to have another baby."
Abhi let out a joyous laugh, sweeping Akshu into his arms and spinning her around.
Abhi- "This is amazing! I can't believe it!"
He set her down gently, his hands cupping her face.
Abhi- "How are you feeling? When did you find out?"
Akshu- "This morning,"
Akshu said, her smile radiant.
Akshu- "I wanted to make it special when I told you."
Abhi kissed her deeply, their joy palpable.
Abhi- "You did. This is perfect, Akshu. I can't wait to tell Abhir."
Akshu- "Speaking of which,"
Akshu said, wiping her tears.
Akshu- "Let's go share the news with him."
They found Abhir in the living room, playing with his toy cars. He looked up as his parents entered, a curious expression on his face.
Abhir- "Mumma, Papa, what are you so happy about?"he asked, tilting his head.
Abhi knelt beside his son, placing a hand on his shoulder.
Abhi- "Abhir, we have a special surprise for you. Mommy and I played a game, and guess what we discovered?"
Abhir's eyes lit up with excitement.
Abhir- "What? What did you find out?"
Akshu smiled, holding Abhir's hands in hers.
Akshu- "Abhir, you're going to be a big brother. Mommy is going to have a baby."
Abhir's face broke into a wide grin.
For a moment, Abhir stared at her in disbelief. Then a huge grin spread across his face.
Abhir- "Really? A baby? That's awesome!"He hugged his parents tightly, his joy infectious. Abhi and Akshu held him close, their hearts full of love and happiness. As they sat together, basking in the moment, Akshu felt a deep sense of gratitude for her beautiful family and the new life they were about to welcome.
Over the next few weeks, the house was filled with preparations and excitement. Akshu and Abhi took Abhir to the store to pick out baby clothes and toys. Abhir was especially excited to choose a stuffed animal for the baby, deciding on a soft, cuddly elephant. One evening, as they were all sitting together in the living room, Abhir looked up at his parents with a serious expression.
Abhir- "Mumma, Papa, will the baby be a boy or a girl?"
Abhi and Akshu exchanged a smile.
Akshu- "We don't know yet, Abhir, But we'll love the baby no matter what."Abhir nodded thoughtfully.
Abhir- "I think it would be fun to have a little sister. But a brother would be cool too."Abhi ruffled his son's hair.
Abhi- "Well, we'll just have to wait and see. Either way, you're going to be the best big brother ever."-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
So this is the other alternative without Manjari's involvement and she is unaware of Akshu's pregnancy.
