You walk into the daycare and see sun cleaning up barrels, and reorganizing. it doesn't seem like anyone else is around.
"Hey, sunny! Need help?" I ask.
"Oh- Y/n!" Sun gets a bit startled but his expression quickly turns to one of relief, "you're here, I-I don't mind, I enjoy cleaning but I don't think anyone else would wanna help, I mean- who would wanna clean?"
"I don't mind," I say, approaching and picking up one of the barrels
"Really? I mean- I'm used to cleaning everything myself, do you really not mind?"
"Nope!"
Sun is clearly surprised but glad he's not lonely anymore, "You sure?"
"Stop worrying, you goof! I wouldn't have said so if I wasn't."
"Right- sorry." Sun starts cleaning out a barrel again and asks you something while he works, "You ever have that weird feeling in your stomach? Your heart beating so fast and your mind racing... what's that?"
"You don't exactly have a heart, you're an animatronic. But I'm sure with how advanced everything is now, you probably feel like you do." I shrug. "Hm, I don't know. I guess, nervousness?"
"Yeah, I guess it could be that, but I feel like it's something more specific?" He says, still cleaning away in the barrel, "Like- I feel nervous about a lot of things, maybe even everything, but this feels different."
"Could be anxiety." I say.
"Oh- that actually makes sense, but do you know how to make it go away?"
"You can't make it go away permanently. But, you can use coping mechanisns for your anxiety. There's lots of things, some people have fidgets that help them, some people write down their feelings and thoughts, others talk to people they trust. But, of course there's a lot more. You just have to find the thing that helps you the most. Everyone's different, and that's okay."
Sun nods, "I've actually started to find some way to help myself, I clean and organize, it brings me order and peace of mind and helps me think properly, but I can't always be cleaning the place can I?"
"No, you can't. You could always work on your, and moons room, right? The last time I saw it, it was pretty dirty."
"Yeah, I've actually begun working on it," his hands continue moving as he talks, working and thinking of what to do after he finishes, "I've got everything on the shelves in their proper spots and the bed is completely reorganized and cleaned, but I still can't help but feel anxious about a lot of stuff... I just- can't help but overthink everything."
"Maybe you should join Earth, Lunar, and Solar's therapy/comfort group. They'll probably have some better advice for you."
"I probably should, but even with all the trust in my friends and siblings, I keep a lot of stuff bottled up, things I'm worried they'll judge me for or think I'm stupid for worrying about the stuff I do..."
"They won't." I say reassuringly.
Sun is silent for a moment, thinking. Before finally asking his question, "Can you promise me they won't? Promise me that they'll never think about or talk to me differently because of the stuff I tell them?"
"I promise, Sun. They're here to help you, they're practically your family! Well, except for Earth, she literally is your sister. But, anyway."
"Right, Well... Maybe I should tell them then?"
"Yeah, ask to join them the next time they have a group meet. They usually do it up in lunar and earths room." I say.
Sun takes a deep breath, "Okay, I'll try... thank you."
"Of course, sunny." I smile, patting his back.
