Yn pov

I shivered underneath the cardboard and the other trash that covered me. The sounds of the rain echoed throughout the alleyway. Flashes ran through my mind. My mother's hand tightly gripped my wrist as we ran through the hallway of water tanks. Each tank held an experiment inside. They were the most horrifying creatures I've ever seen but yet I also saw beauty to them. My mother opened the door. The cold breeze met our faces. Mom:" Run sweetheart! " Yn:" Not without you!" Mom:" I can't leave the other one behind!" The other one? I didn't understand who or what she meant. Until vivid flashes ran through me. I was strapped down to the cold steal bed. So many needles were inside my whole body. I heard a man say. '' I think we've finally done it this time! " I looked over to the other side of me. Their layed a girl on the bed next to me. This girl she struggled to reach out to me. She..she looked just like me. I shook myself from the flash. Yn:" Mom no she isn't real! I'm real! Im the real me!" My mom put her hands on my shoulders. Mom:" She's apart of you Yn she's as real as you are. I can't leave her there! Please run Yn!" My mother ran back inside of that place. I stood there for a few moments trembling. How could she risk herself to save that..that..thing?! I shook out of my thoughts I ran back inside. I refused to leave without her. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw around the corner. My mom was laying on the ground bleeding out. I heard two men talking the one said" You weren't suppose to kill her!" The other said '' I didn't when she realized she wasn't getting away she took her own life. The experiments didn't work with her anyway My Lord. We only kept her around to give some comfort to the girls." The other man said:" Which I see they've gotten away too! Find them!" I woke up as my stomach growled I placed my hand on it. I lost track how many days I've been here. I soon felt a jolt beside me. I peeked under the trash. There was a boy sitting beside me panting. My eyes widened as i saw him starting to unwrap his sandwich. As I sat up all the garbage I was laying under fell off of me. The boy screamed '' The hell?!" He quickly placed his hand on the carboard that was covering me and the cardboard turned to dust. I stared at the dust in my hand. Then i looked back at the boy. Our eyes gazed back at each other. He had ruby eyes with wavy blue hair. He looked like he had been living on the streets for some time. Yn:" I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you." Tenko:" What are you doing here?!" Yn:" I..guess I live here. You ruined my blanket."

Tenko pov

I stared at the girl covered in dust from my quirk. I noticed that she had bruises all over her. Along with scarring on her arms. I expected everyone to be scared of my quirk. But she didn't seem phased at all by it. The look in her eyes there was nothing. No emotion they were like looking into black holes. She sighed and stood up. She wiped the dust off her. Not that it mattered since her clothes were covered in dirt anyway. She turned her back towards me and started walking away. Yn:" I guess ill be going to my other spot. Tenko:" Wait." Yn:" For what?" Tenko:" You dont seem like your afraid of me." Yn:" Why would i be? Your quirk doesnt define who you are. Its how you use it that defines you. Ill leave you alone now." I didn't think that I would come across anyone who wouldn't be afraid of me. I didn't want her to go. Tenko:" Can i..come with you." She turned her gaze back to me. She then eyed the sandwich in my hand. Yn:" If you share your sandwich with me then yes."

A few months went by Yn and I eventually found an abandoned building we could hide out in. She didn't speak much but the rare times when she would smile. It..made me feel warm. She slid the rest of her bagel towards me. Yn:" You can have the rest." She would always do this she would only eat half of her meal. No matter how much I insisted she eat more she never would. She would always push it off to me. Tenko:" I'm about full Yn. You can eat it later. " Yn:" Its ok im.." Tenko:" No you need to eat more ok. I like your company. It would suck if you got sick. Just eat more later please." Yn:" ok." Tenko:"What happened to you anyway?" She went to say something but no words came out. Tenko:" It's fine you don't have to tell me. Its just we've been together for a few months now and we don't really know too much about each other." Yn:" I don't want to talk about it." I sighed with disappointment. Tenko:" Fine." Yn:" I would rather show you." Tenko:" What do you mean?" Yn:" I have to touch you. Is that ok?" Tenko:" But.." Yn:" You won't hurt me as long as you don't put all five fingers on me." Tenko:" I dont want to risk it. I've only just got use to not turning objects to dust. Can you just touch my arm?" Yn:" yeah that's fine." Yn took a deep breath. She slowly placed her hand on my arm. I could feel her trembling. Then i saw flashes of what happened to her. All the torture she endured from being experimentated on. Then when she lost her mother. Not only did I see her memories through her eyes I felt what she was feeling during all of it. The fear she felt everyday for years. Fear I knew that feeling all too well. Tenko:" What were they doing to you?" Yn:" I don't know exactly. Honestly it's all a blur they kept me drugged up most of the time. So their faces are a blur. They wanted our power for themselves but they couldn't take it the way they wanted to do they were finding other ways to make us useful." Tenko:" So this is your quirk passing memories?" Yn:" I can also see others memories and I can also move things with my mind. But it's more than that..my mother and I we..we're different. I can't get much more into that. I'm better at my memory quirk. I never really got the chance to properly control my telekinesis quirk." Yn:" Since I showed you what happened to me can i..see what happened to you?" I felt sick to my stomach. The last thing I wanted to do was to scare her. Tenko:" I don't think that's a good idea." Yn:" please tenko. You realize what I showed you was very personal. You felt what I felt I wouldn't do this with just anyone. Please .You can trust me. I won't think anything different of you." Yn laid her hand on my wrist. Her green eyes stared back at me. I was scared but I felt like if I didn't give her what she wanted she would be ticked off anyway. I felt like I was backed in a corner. I was screwed either way. Tenko:" Fine but before you..Just know that I would never hurt you Yn." She nodded. Yn:" Just concentrate on your memories." Yn placed her hands On my arms.
