Chapter 4 Similar but not

It is strange everything was similar but different it was so confusing to say the least.As there is so much questions that need to be answered because something was happening as Ragatha had no idea what is even going on anymore.Because this was completely out of the ordinary well out of the ordinary for her and everybody else.As the room is a combination of Kaumfo room, as there was the familiar portraits and the bowling ball, including props that he would use.

But there is also some other things that are not so familiar like they're being laboratory equipment. Such as chemicals, mechanical items, sensitive equipment, and so much more.As it is a very confusing situation as to what exactly is going on? Also, why is it that the poetry of him look different as well?

Because there is very strange as to what exactly is going on as these portraits do have his face on it but something about his face is different as his the expression on his face seem to be serious not to mention the fact that his hat is having a more technological look.

Including the clothing that he's wearing it's different as there was some resemblance of what he normally has but it was also different.As there is a difference that is is very perplexing to say the least. It was him by the same time it wasn't.So Ragatha is just simply lost at all of this, and confused as to what exactly is going on.

(" What's going on? I'm so confused as to why is everything different but the same.I know Kaufmo and his room wasn't like this granted there was somethings that are familiar here but there's others that aren't.I don't understand why does he look different in these portraits as well? Including that wanted poster that I saw. Including that strange pulse of energy that I felt. What happened to this place? I'm just so confused about everything that is happening now.")

As there is so many questions that are going on through her mind that there is a sound coming from within the room. It started off quiet as first.But then it started to get louder until she could hear it then flashing red lights happened all of the sudden as the alarm got even louder.Soon Ragatha decided to get out of here not before, however, something or rather someone familiar stop her from leaving.

As there right in front of her is Kaufmo but something about him is different. He looked the same, but he was also different at the exact same time.As his clothing is a fusion of what he would normally wear, and with the appears to be a scientist clothing as well.Then there is the look in his eyes it wasn't anything familiar about the stair at least to herself that's what is noticeable.

Because something about his eyes how they were staring right at her it just made her feel so uncomfortable with him right now.But it wasn't any time to respond as it was clear given by the look on his face, he was not happy to see her at all. In fact, it was the opposite. Because now he wanted to get rid of her as soon as possible.

" I have no idea how you got in my house. But I do know is that I don't want you here. It's already bad enough in this city. I don't need anybody else here that will bring the council to me."

That is still confusing as it didn't make any sense, but before Ragatha could even respond there was another sound coming from Kaufmo as then without any realization, something came out from his back.As what came out of his back is surprising, as there were eight long, mechanical tentacles that are still moving around as her face was speechless as she doesn't remember him ever having those before.

But then one of them tried to catch her. Luckily for her, she was able to get out in time.But Kaufmo didn't like that as he used his tentacles to lift himself up to see where she was heading off too including the fact that he seemed to be interested in that strange energy pulse that was coming from her as well.Ragatha is moving very quickly as the strange pulse within her continued moving as well, making her go very fast.

Also there was the fact that there are more robotic and forces coming after her.As moving through everything was so different, but yet similar the exact same time, it didn't make any sense as familiar robotic tentacles continued moving.As there is so many things that are happening as it didn't make any.

Not to mention a fact a friend who has gone crazy, is trying to attack her as he had no recollection of her whatsoever. Not to mention the fact that he's acting different as well.As there is a lot that is going Ragatha didn't even realize that now somehow she had gotten out to a moving train as it was strange.

It seem to be a mixture of the train that is familiar but including an advance one.Then there is the sounds of the machinery, as there was familiar robotic tentacles.Soon there is Kaufmo on the train with her as he was clearly frustrated by all of this.

" Finally have nowhere to go huh?Well that's great news for me. It's bad enough that the council wants to disrupt my peace. But now I have to deal with you. But that's about to end now as you won't get out of my sight and I won't let you disturb my work anymore."

Then there is a robotic enforcer, that is slowly coming towards them as none of them knew, at least until someone saw it.As Ragatha looked to see an robotic enforcer, coming close towards her, and Kaufmo as it was pretty clear that he needed to get away before the enforcer did something as it was clear that this will robotic enforcer force so had a laser.

"Kaufmo look out!"

Then without any hesitation Ragatha collided with him, pushing him out of the way before the robotic enforcer shot the laser at him. As the enforcer looked to see a sign, but it was too late as it hit the sign, and it fell into pieces.Soon after a while she got up along with him, as there was a look of surprise on his face, as the robotic tentacles went back into well his back.As there is nothing to be said until he spoke to her.

" Why did you save me?Also why did you call me that that's not my name?"

"So I don't know what's going on here but all I know is that you're a friend that I know I guess someone who used to tell jokes I suppose."

" I used to tell jokes, but that was a long time ago. Everyone always bullied me, always told me that it was no good and beat me up from my bad jokes.But soon I use my mind for other things, such as creating my tentacles, and I stood up to those that bullied me. But that still didn't change the fact everything has changed since the council took over everything. That's why I stay here in my house. I don't have any friends. I stay in my house to be alone away from everything."

" That doesn't make sense. You're him but you're not. This is just so confusing for me."

There is a moment of quiet until he decided to speak up, becoming very curious about this. Including that whole energy thing. Because he was genuinely curious about what this new citizen has to say including that energy.

" You said we're friends. Did we have other friends and did we do anything together?"

" We did a lot of things together you told jokes, and you were very smart. Granted not all of us got some of your jokes, but they were still funny the way however. But no matter how many ups and downs we had we always there for each other. Also, we did have a lot of other friends. Anyways, my name is Ragatha what's your name?"

" The name is Octavius. I should probably take you back to my place considering how the new energy that's surrounding you seems to be very interesting to say the least."

Soon after that whole experience, they decided to head back to the house, as they did not notice that the enforce sent out a signal to the council.As the council decided to send in Piper to investigate the situation because something happened there.As the council wanted to know exactly what it is that had happened.
