"Y/N." You hear a honeyed voice saying your name and push your face a little into the soft hand rubbing it. You hear a low chuckle. "Baby, it's time to wake up."
You stir awake as he continues to rub his fingers across your face. He traces the shape of your face, making little circles with his fingertip. It is so soothing that you almost fall back to sleep. He pulls his hand back and you whine a little. He just chuckles again.
"It's time to get up, Y/n. You've been asleep for most of the day! If you don't wake up, you're going to be sad to miss out on the food I ordered." This perks you up.
"Food?" You say, trying to open your eyes more.
When your eyes open, you look up and see Seonghwa laying next to you, half over you. You smile up at him and close your eyes, again. You breathe him in for a moment before remembering that you fell asleep in your own room, not his. You sit up quickly, pushing him off of you.
"What? What's wrong?"
You look around, looking to see where Lexi is if Seonghwa is there with you. "Where's Lexi?"
"Oh. She left a while ago. She let me in on her way out. You have been really knocked out."
"I'm tired! I'm surprised YOU are even up. How do you guys do this?"
"I mean, we're pretty used to the schedules."
"It's so tiring just dealing with the airport. I'm glad when we got here, there wasn't anyone outside."
"Yeah, but we still get followed every time. You just don't see them as well. Sometimes they wait for the staff vans to roll out before following."
"That's so crazy."
He just kind of shrugs at you. "Yeah, well. We wish it didn't happen, but all we can do is hope our security takes care of things. We have pretty great staff. Come on. Let's get some food in you!"
"Yes, please!"
The two of you eat and then try deciding what to do the next day. You have a day before they have to start rehearsals, since they have to get the venue set up. You're looking up things the two of you can get into and receive a text from Jay.
(Jay) Hey! We are doing a dance class tomorrow for a few hours. After the class, we have the room for an extra few hours to work on new choreo. Be ready by 10:30? We are all going together.
You immediately write back, letting him know you'll be ready. Your face lights up and you look up at Seonghwa as he is mid-sentence. You smile and then fake frown at him, putting on a small pouty face. He stops what he's saying.
"What is that look for?"
"Jay and the group are going to a dance studio tomorrow. Sooo..."
"Babe, you don't need my permission."
"Oh. I wasn't asking. I was just letting You know that I am no longer available."
"Ah. Yes." He says,
"It IS my job." You laugh out loud.
"Ah! Yes! I forget sometimes you aren't just here for me." He smiles big at you.
"Hush! Just because my kids are still on the other side of the country, doesn't mean I don't have work to do! Plus, I miss dancing. I haven't done any since leaving!"
"Awe, that's so cute. Your 'kids'. I get it, I get it. I'm sure you'll have a fun time." He looks at his phone before frowning slightly. "We apparently now have an interview tomorrow. So I guess that works out. I guess you would have just made plans with Lexi. Do you think she will go with you guys? Does she dance?" He half laughs and you picture Lexi attempting to dance outside of a club scene and you also start laughing.
"Ahhhh. Well. Lexi does not dance and will probably go with you guys, anyway. She was saying she wanted to get some shots outside of the venue."
"You seem awfully eager now to not see me tomorrow." Seonghwa puts a pout on his face and drops his head.
"Hush. I can't use you as my only source of cardio!"
A wicked grin comes across his face as he looks back up at you. He stands quickly and has his hands resting on the arm rests, blocking you in. He gets really close to you, tilts his head to the side, asking, "are you sure?"
You smile back up at him, but before you can respond, there is a knock at the door. You hear a card being pressed against the keypad and the door handle turning.
"Please don't be naked!" Lexi enters, her hands covering her face, a bag in her hand. Seonghwa sighs and goes back to his seat and you just laugh at your friend, still covering her face.
"It's fine, Lex. We just finished eating."
"Perfect! I brought ice cream!" She says, uncovering her face.
"I will take mine to go." Seonghwa says, standing to leave.
"Awe. I scared you off? I'm sorry!"
"No, nothing Like that. I just got a message saying there is a meeting with staff about our transport and everything for the interview tomorrow. Are you staying here tonight?"
"I'm not sure. Let me know when you're meeting is done? Since I clearly took the world's longest nap, I don't think I'll be tired for a while."
"Okay. I'll let you know. Lexi, always a pleasure." He kisses your forehead and grabs an ice cream bar out of the bag in Lexi's hand before heading out.
"You really did sleep for a long time. I was gonna wake you up before I left, but about the same time, Seonghwa came lightly knocking on the door. He's so cute."
"He really is. Thanks for letting him in."
"Of course!"
"So! Where have you been? Other than getting ice cream?"
"I was hanging out with Yeosang and Wooyoung for a little bit. Then I went with one of the managers to get ice cream. We dropped everything off to the rest of the guys and then I wanted to come back here to chill for a bit. Thought we could hang out together."
"I love that plan! You know what we are missing, though??"
"Oh, we aren't missing anything." She puts the bag down and goes to a bag next to her suitcase. "Ta-da!" She pulls out a bottle of whiskey, and the two of you laugh. You grab your wallet to run and grab a few cokes from the vending machine down the hall.
As you wait for the machine to give you the second drink, you hear someone coming in the small room behind you. You turn and see it's a girl around your height, maybe a year or two younger. You don't really think anything of it and get a third and final drink. It's when you turn around, about to walk past her that you realize that she doesn't belong on this floor. She is the girl from before. And she is blocking the door.
