PERCY

FOR the rest of the school year, the whole school seemed to act as if  Mrs Kerr has always been there. And it weirded Percy out.

Percy knew he wasn't fit to play detective but regardless, he does have one lead.

Patroclus Yin.

The senior who cooked blue food for him cause he was homesick.

The senior who took time out of his busy schedule to tutor Percy.

The senior Percy vented to when he had a terrible day, one that's worse than others.

But Patroclus Yin was also the one who lied. Lied when Percy had asked about Mrs Dodds.

Percy tried to reason with himself, Patroclus has always been there for him. And rarely told lies towards them, at least Percy hoped so. But the rage within him came back as fast as it went.

Percy wanted answers. That's the only thing he needs, he needs answers that would tell him that he isn't the only one who saw whatever he witnessed. That's all, Perseus Jackson just doesn't want to be alone in this.

Percy started feeling cranky and irritable most of the time. His grades slipped from Ds to Fs even with Patroclus's tutoring, don't get Percy wrong cause Patroclus is a great tutor. Percy  got into more fights with Nancy Bobofit and her friends, which resulting in being sent out into the hallway in almost every class.

Finally, when our English teacher, Mr. Nicoll, asked him for the millionth time why I was too lazy to study for spelling tests, Percy snapped and called him an old sot. He himself wasn't even sure what it meant, but it sounded good.

The headmaster sent Sally Jackson  a letter the following week, making it official: Percy Jackson would not be invited back next year to Yancy Academy.

Fine, Percy had told himself. Just fine.

He was homesick anyways.

It doesn't matter if he can't see that good view his dorm room had, he'll find better views when he mom takes him on their next trip.

It doesn't matter if he can't see Grover again, Grover knows his place and can visit any time. Percy would just be worried how his strange yet good friend will survive without him next year.

It doesn't matter if he can't see Mr Brunner, Percy had enough of him and his cool tournament days...

It doesn't matter if he can't have tutor sessions with Patroclus Yin anymore....

Actually... yea Percy will miss that.

Right now Percy was scribbling on a piece of paper he tore from a goldfish covered notebook, a welcome gift Patroclus gave him when the had their first detention together.

He was in the detention room, he had one last detention before the finals. When he heard the door pen he had a glare readied for whatever teacher might be on duty, but Percy's gaze softened when he saw Patroclus enter.
