I let out a sigh out of boredom.

Out of all the fucking jobs or roles. I just had to defend the flag.

Well yes, while my brothers get to be on the frontlines— I, Patroclus Yin had to be guard duty!!!

I deadpanned at two of the latest Ares kids who are the flag's "defenders". In a nutshell—They're just decoys while Im the real deal.

I swiftly move from branch to branch between the tall trees of the forest. Out of the corner of my eye I caught a few Aphrodite kids sitting themselves next to the stream of water.

I hummed in approval when I overheard them talking on the latest fashion trends, some ridiculous, while the other: weren't so bad.

Knowing Annabeth, she would have Percy on border patrol...castaway should be coming over right now...

The last two times I've led the team I was in to win, this time however...I kind of feel like making people suffer by losing hot shower privileges and etc. Especially the Aphrodite kids, nothing against them. But they're reactions are funny.

Besides. I can always just sneak myself into cabin eleven's bath time. Luke wouldn't mind. Except that one time I had an emergency and went to find Luke in the showers...

"Hey Lukey pookie~!" I said in a high pitched tone and pulled the shower curtain aside.

Castaway jumped and armed himself with his lemongrass scented soap.

"Aw that's a cute weapon of choice." I smiled with my eyes closed as lowered his soapy weapon.

"Monkey. What. The fuck!!" Luke got embrarassed as he was naked and tried to find something to cover himself.

"Aiya I know this is super weird— but it's an emergency!!"

"Monster on camp borders?"

"Ah....no..?" My gaze lowered to his toned six pack. Damn..

"Then what on the gods of Olympus could you-"

"It's a chocolate emergency!! My stock has run out!! I need you to get me some more!!!" I whined like a child, but who cares? I know Luke loves me too much to care about that.

Luke sighed as he turned off the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist.

" You could've told me that after I showered, monkey."

I frowned and stuck the tip of my tongue out. As I backed away for him to step out of the shower, he slipped but managed to balance himself. However, the soap slipped out of his hands and landed on the floor. The both of us stared at the soap. Mourning in silence.
