Feeling weight on his chest, he looked down to see one of Kanari's arms resting on his chest as she slept beside him.
He then seen Tank, balled up in his weighted blanket at the foot of the bed.
Last night, after Tank came home and winded down, they continued with their game of 21 questions. Which somehow led to a game night between the three.
Sevyn couldn't help but smile at the sight of all of them cramped up in the bed together.
Interrupting himself from taking in the moment, he headed towards his bathroom. Closing the door behind him, he handled his morning routine.
After a quick shower, he kept it plain and simple. He threw on a black Essentials jogging suit, with some black Timberlands to match.
Going through the variety of coats in his closet, he settled for his black North Face puffer jacket.
He grabbed his carry-on suit case, going downstairs, putting it next to the front door.
Double checking to make sure he had everything, he went back upstairs for one last thing.
"I'll be back." He said softly, placing a kiss on Kanari's forehead.
Surprisingly, she didn't move around or start to squirm in her sleep.
Also kissing his little brother on the forehead, Sevyn finally left the room. He headed downstairs to eat a quick breakfast, then shot Kanari a quick text.

While waiting on his Uber to the airport, Sevyn's mind started to wander. He thought of Kanari and how much he liked her. He didn't care if it had only been 2 weeks of them getting to know each other, he wanted to make her his.
In the oddest way, she made his soul smile. When he saw Kanari walk into the room, the butterflies in his stomach would flutter. Out of all the girls he took interest in, they never made him feel the way Kanari did.
Even a simple conversation made Sevyn feel like he was connected to her on a deeper level. Shit, he felt like this was love at first sight.
Hearing a notification from the Uber app, he looked out the window to see that his Uber had arrived.
He quickly cleaned up his mess and headed to the front door. Rolling his suitcase up to the car, he made sure the license plates matched before putting his things in the trunk, and getting in the backseat.
"Uber for Sevyn Elmore?"
Confirming with the driver, they started to make their way to O'Hare International Airport.
25 minutes later, Sevyn was at the airport going through TSA. As he patted himself down, he felt something in one of his coat pockets. Forgetting he left a prerolled up blunt in there, he bucked his eyes before stuffing the coat in the security bin and hoped for the best.
