First day at college.
On the first day itself, Trisha was late to class. Everyone had settled in the classroom, and the lecturer had already started his lecture.
Panicking upon entering, she gathered all her courage and held the knob to open the door. She saw someone running towards where she was standing.
Looking at him, she stood without twisting the knob, hoping he might be her classmate.
He slowed down his pace, looking at her. He came near her. Before speaking, he gazed into her big eyes filled with fear and hope. He seemed lost for a moment.
Snapping back to reality when she uttered, "Excuse me," he extended his hand for an introduction. "Hi, I'm Pritam, 1st year, B section." In return, she briefly introduced herself as Trisha and added, "We're late; the first class has already started." He smiled and said,"Don't fear when I'm here."
He held the knob and twisted it. As soon as he opened the door, he caught everyone's attention in the class. Looking at him, their lecturer asked, "Yes! HERO" (That teacher sometimes addresses students as Hero/ Madam to mock them) The class laughed, looking at him. Trisha came and stood beside Pritam. Some of the students said, "Heroine..." loud enough to reach Trisha and laughed. They both stood stunned, listening to it.
