While journeying through the Castle there are no signs of Toadsworth anywhere. And the creepy shadowy hands lurking everywhere within the Castle is quite the mystery.
Luckly with the help of Carrie our Heroes now have a lead on where Toadsworth is. The Dungeon.
"'K be careful everyone! We don't know if those creepy hands are down here." Nassie warned.
They all creeped down the stairs of the Dungeon carefully in hopes to find Toadsworth before whoever is commanding those shadowy hands do. As they descended into the Dungeon.
Chapter 2-4:
The Dungeon Face-Off
"Hmm...I feel it. The Pure Heart..." Nassie said as she followed the other down the last step. "It's presence is much stronger down here. That must mean Toadsworth is close by." The Dungeon wasn't very bright but it wasn't as dark as the corridors thankfully.
"Woo!" Carrie cheered.
"Well isn't that luckly for us." Dimentio said looking around at the Dungeon.
"Well this is a Dungeon. So it shouldn't be that hard to navigate. And we got Nassie to guide us." Mimi said confidently.
"Well...There's this thing...I forgot to mention about this Dungeon." Carrie said nervously.
"SSS-POM! What do you mean Carrie?" Boomer asked.
"Well...This Dungeon is a maze. Like a really big maze." Carrie answered. "I dunno why Toadsworth designed it like that but...The Dungeon is pretty big...Like." Carrie stretched out her angel like wings. "Really big. I kinda got lost in here once."
"It'll be fine Carrie! We got Nassie to guide us to the Pure Heart so we won't get lost." Thoreau reassured Carrie.
Piccolo then noticed a piece of paper lying on the ground. She goes over to it and the best she can she tries to pick it up as she brings it over to Dimentio. She waves the paper she was struggling to hold with her lack of hands as Dimentio notices and lets out a little chuckle before tacking it from her.
"Huh. A letter for us." Dimentio said as he started to read not noticing the other surrounding him to get a look at the letter as well.
"What does it say?" Mimi said trying to look over Dimentio to get a better look at the letter but pushed her away a bit to get her off of him. "I am getting there." He said as he started to read aloud.
'To whoever is reading this. I better hope that you're the Heroes! This is Toadsworth but at the moment I got some issues here and I had retreat to the Dungeon to protect the Pure Heart. Some hostile forces have broken into the Castle trying to find it. Just why couldn't you Heroes shown up sooner. You've kept me and my ancestors waiting for 1,500 years! But that doesn't matter now come find me.'
Dimentio finished reading the letter as he decided to toss it to the side. "Well shall we get going?" Dimentio asked the group.
"But...The real thing I want to ask who even is this hostile forces? We are guessing they're working for Countess Shay. Wait it has to be the stupid woman!" Mimi yelled out.
"Now, now Mimi you shouldn't accuse people like that." Nassie said.
"It makes sense she told us to go into those rooms that had those creepy hand things! And she is no where to be seen it has to be her!"
