3rd person:

Beep beep!

"Don't forget... I can make it all disappear with a snap of my fingers, Annabeth dear... You know what to do..." whispered an unknown voice in her mind.

Annabeth shook her head. "Time for another day at Hogwarts..." Annabeth got out of bed and got ready for the day. She grabbed her bag full of books and other things, and walked out of her dorm.

She saw a little guy looking at Percy from down the hallway. "Who is this kid? He's most likely a first year... but why is he looking at Percy?" Annabeth wondered.

"Um, are you lost or something?" Annabeth asked.

"No." The kid replied.

"Well can I at least get your name?"

"Fine. My name is Nico."

"Well, you're obviously a Slytherin as well, so this is where we sit." Annabeth pointed at the Slytherin table.

"Thanks..."

Annabeth sat down at the table. "Why isn't he sitting down? He looks like he's seen a ghost or hasn't eaten in ages." Annabeth wondered in curiosity.

Percy looked over to Annabeth. "This note has to work..." he hoped. "Wingardum Leviosa!" He whisper-yelled.

A folded up sheet of paper rose in the air and flew over to where Annabeth was sitting. Once flying above her, she seemed to notice and took the piece of paper.

"Okay. Who decided to write this...?" Annabeth wondered. "Dear Annabeth, I want things to get better between us. We've been so distant after what happened last year. Meet me at the lake after classes if you want to make things right. -Percy"

"Oh Percy... I guess it wouldn't hurt to go... but will we become friends again or will we fight?" Annabeth questioned.

She wrote back on the piece of paper.

"Fine. I will show up after classes. But if something goes wrong, then I'm going to leave." Annabeth folded the paper and flew it back to Percy.

The bell suddenly rang after Annabeth finished her food. She quickly ran over to her next class, Transfiguration.

Jason was staring at Piper, admiring her beauty. "I wish I could just tell her... but she doesn't have the same feelings for me, I know it. Maybe I should keep this at the friendship level and not make anything romantic between us."

"Jason, is something wrong? You seem very distracted today. Did something happen?" Piper asked Jason, confused on why he was in la la land or being so distracted. "I wonder what's going on with him..."

"It's nothing, Pipes. Don't worry," Jason replied.

"Fine then..." she mumbled. "Is it about Percy? You seemed not like him as much as I expected."

"No. I told you, there's nothing wrong. My mind is just going in different directions today."

"Ms. McLean, can you give me the answer to question eight?" Professor Flitwick asked her.

Piper looked in her book and at her notes. "It's gotta be in here somewhere..."

"It's a fire charm. Answer C," Jason whispered.

"Is it C, or a fire charm?"

"Yes, it is. Good job, Ms. McLean. I was worried that you weren't paying attention! Now, before I dismiss you, you need to remember that technique I thought
you. Swish and flick, students! Swish and flick!"

Ring!

———————
Percy was walking to his final class of the day, excited to see Annabeth at the lake shortly afterwords. "Maybe I really can make things right..."

He spotted a kid with black hair, pale skin, and he was wearing a Slytherin robe. "He looks so lonely. I feel bad for him." Percy walked up to the Slytherin.

"Don't even think about it," grumbled the Slytherin boy.

Percy backed up. "What's your problem?"

"I don't have one."

"Fine then." Percy walked away from him. "Rude..."

———————
The day was finally over, and Percy leaped in joy as he walked to the lake. "Things are finally going to turn up!"

Percy sat down on the the ground. "Well, it's surprisingly not moist," He said as he patted the ground.

Percy heard footsteps behind him. They were light, not heavy, which meant that it was a girl. Percy turned around and saw Annabeth as she smiled and waved at him. They began to chat about what happened.

"Annabeth, I don't want us to fight. I don't even know what caused this stupid thing in the first place."

"I do too. I honestly just hate being in fights. Especially with one of my only friends at this school."

"So can we start over or be friends again?"

"Let me see..."

Percy looked over to her. "What did she mean by that?"

"Yeah, I'd like that."
