            🌟AUTHOR’S POV🌟

Finally, the day of the party arrived—igniting a flurry of emotions among the individuals. The hospital staff were buzzing with excitement, especially since it was the first time such an event was being organized. But amidst all the excitement, some harboured thoughts of jealousy and conspiracy, quietly brewing in the shadows.

At the girls’ apartment, chaos reigned. Roshni and Noorie danced around the house, fussing over dresses, makeup, accessories, and whatnot, while Asma reprimanded them, reminding them that the party was in the evening and they had plenty of time to get ready. Sara, unbothered by the commotion, was peacefully sipping tea on the couch, her laptop balanced on her lap.

Meanwhile, at Ishaan’s apartment, Ahaan and Armaan banged on the door relentlessly, trying to wake up their sleepy friend. A very sleep-deprived Ishaan opened the door with a furious glare.

“Don’t you two have anything better to do than ruin my sleep?” he groaned.

“We’re off duty today. Now move,” Armaan replied, pushing past him with Ahaan in tow.

“Why are you still asleep? Didn’t you sleep last night?” Ahaan asked, confused.

“No, I had a last-minute meeting with foreign investors. Jay wasn’t available, so I had to step in. I barely got any sleep, and here you both are, barging in like always.”

“Okay then. Since we’re here—go make breakfast. We’re going shopping,” Armaan declared.

“Does this place look like a hotel and me like your waiter?” Ishaan raised a brow.

“No, this is your apartment, and you’re my dear friend. Now, feed me!” Armaan whined.

Resigned, Ishaan walked toward the kitchen. Ahaan followed him, offering help.

After breakfast, Ishaan went to freshen up, but not before warning Armaan to behave. The doorbell rang, and Armaan opened it to find Arsalan at the door.

“You? What are you doing here?” Armaan asked, startled.

“I came to see Ishaan. But if there’s free food, I’m staying,” Arsalan smirked.

Ishaan returned, surprised to see him. “You too? Came for free food?”

“No! I just dropped by to meet you,” Arsalan defended, sitting at the table.

During breakfast, Arsalan shared his thoughts behind hosting the party. The boys nodded in understanding. “So, did you buy your outfit yet?” Armaan asked.

“No, I asked Asad to get it sorted and send it directly to the mansion,” replied Arsalan.

“Poor guy,” Armaan chuckled.

“He loves doing it. I don’t force him,” Arsalan rolled his eyes.

“Okay, hurry up. We’re going shopping, then lunch, and we’ve got to get ready. You two are lucky your dates are sweethearts—Noorie and Asma won’t kill you if you’re late. Mine will absolutely murder me,” Armaan huffed.

At the mention of Noorie, Arsalan’s ears perked up. “Noorie? Who’s going with her?”

“She’s my date,” Ahaan answered.

Ishaan then explained how Arsalan had once met Noorie and misunderstood. Relief spread across Arsalan’s face. "Keep an eye on her, alright?” he warned softly.

“Of course. I’m a gentleman,” Ahaan replied proudly, earning a few chuckles.

They all went shopping, dragged by Armaan—just like Roshni had once dragged Sara. After finding their outfits, they stopped for lunch and reminisced about old times before heading home to get ready.

Back at the girls' apartment, the chaos returned.

"STOP!" Asma yelled, finally fed up. “You two—separate seats, NOW. If I hear one more word, I’m locking you both inside, and only Sara and I will go!”

Startled, Noorie and Roshni followed her instructions. Sara raised a grateful thumbs-up. “What? I was going to do the same,” she added.

“Did you message Rehan?” Asma asked Sara.

“Yes, I told him I’ll accompany him. I didn’t want to, but he looked too hopeful. I don’t want to hurt him. He’s nice… just a little clueless,” Sara sighed.

“It’s just one day. Don’t stress,” Asma reassured her.

The girls began getting ready—Roshni and Noorie huddled in a room, fussing over accessories. Sara was in the shower. Asma was about to go in when the doorbell rang.

A delivery boy handed her a parcel. “Are you Asmaara Jiwaani?”

“Yes,” she replied, signing for it and taking it inside. Curious, she opened it—with Roshni and Noorie hovering behind her.

Inside was a stunning dress. Asma froze, love at first sight. Roshni and Noorie squealed, grabbing the dress for a closer look.

A note was attached.

Reading it, Asma blushed. Roshni snatched it and read aloud:

> “I hope you like this dress. If you wear it to the party tonight, it’ll make me very happy. A small gift for my beautiful Maara. – Your Shaan.”

“Ooooo, that’s so romantic! ‘Beautiful Maara’? I didn’t know Ishaan sir was such a softie,” Noorie giggled.

Red-faced, Asma snatched the note and dress and locked herself in her room. The other two stood wide-eyed.

“Close your mouths before flies enter,” Sara teased, entering the room. They filled her in, and she just shook her head. “You two are too much. Go get ready!”

The boys soon arrived, looking sharp in their tuxedos. Sara opened the door and left them speechless.

“Whoa, Sara… You look drop-dead gorgeous,” Armaan said, the others nodding in agreement.

“Thanks. Come in. We’re almost ready.”

Noorie came out first. Ahaan was stunned silent. Then Roshni followed—leaving Armaan wobbling like he’d been hit by lightning. Ishaan caught him just in time.

And finally… Asma. She walked out, fastening her heels, unaware of the effect she had on Ishaan—who looked like he’d just forgotten how to breathe.

The girls, in turn, were equally stunned. Noorie looked at Ahaan adoringly, Roshni couldn’t take her eyes off Armaan, and Asma… was struck dumb. Ishaan was wearing an outfit that matched hers. They looked like a picture-perfect couple.
