AUTHOR’S POV

Ishaan, Armaan, and Ahaan arrived at their building and made their way to the elevator. When they reached Ishaan’s floor, he stepped out quickly, waving a goodbye. Ahaan and Armaan remained inside since they lived on the same floor.

Before leaving, Ishaan informed them that he’d call Arsalan and update him about the plan. They all decided to meet in the parking lot at the designated time.

Once Ishaan reached his apartment, he immediately called Arsalan and waited for him to pick up. The call connected, and Arsalan answered in a sleepy voice, as if he'd just woken up.

“Hello, Ishaan. What happened? Why are you calling me this early on a weekend? It’s my day off. Let me sleep,” Arsalan mumbled, not giving Ishaan a chance to reply.

“Why did you stop your nonsense? Say it. Don’t stop on my account. And for your information, the sun’s already up. Just get ready and come fast. We have important work to do,” said Ishaan, making Arsalan groan.

“Alright, I’m up. I’ll be there in some time,” Arsalan whined, hanging up.

Dragging himself out of bed, Arsalan headed to the washroom, completed his morning routine, and asked the cook to make coffee. After a shower and dressing in casuals, he grabbed his phone and car keys and went to the dining area. After quickly finishing his coffee, he left for the boys’ apartment.

Once in the parking lot, Arsalan parked and headed to Ishaan’s flat. As he entered, he saw Ishaan ready to leave. Upon asking, he got filled in on the plan and why his presence was needed. Agreeing with him, they headed down to the parking lot to wait for Armaan and Ahaan, who soon joined them.

As per the plan, Ishaan and Armaan left for the girls’ apartment in Ishaan’s car, while Arsalan and Ahaan drove to Noorie and Grandma’s apartment in Arsalan’s car.

At the girls’ apartment, chaos ruled. Packing was in full swing. When the van from the packers and movers arrived, Asma rushed to the balcony and signalled Armaan and Ishaan to come up. She then informed Sara about their arrival.

Soon, Armaan and Ishaan entered with the P&M staff following. Sara and Asma waited for them in the living room, while Roshni was nowhere to be seen.

“You can start from the living room, then the kitchen, followed by the bedrooms,” Sara instructed the movers.

While Sara took charge, Ishaan followed Asma to her room to offer help, and Armaan peeked into Roshni’s room.

Roshni was almost done packing when Armaan walked in.

“Oh! When did you get here?” she asked.

“When you were busy packing. I came to ask if you needed help,” he replied.

“No, thanks. I’m almost done,” she said.

“Hey, isn’t this the gift I gave you at the party?” he asked, picking it up. “Didn’t you open it?”

“No! So much happened yesterday, I didn’t get the chance. And Noorie kept hovering around me—I didn’t want to open it in front of her,” Roshni pouted. “Wait, let me open it now. I want to see what it is, too.”

Armaan watched her closely as she unwrapped it.

“Seriously? You got me this? My favourite chocolates! They’re impossible to find here because of demand and price. How did you get them?”

“It’s magic,” Armaan winked. “And you don’t need to know where from. You like it—that’s what matters.”

“Thank you, Mani. This was seriously not needed,” Roshni said, clearly touched. “And I don’t just like it—I love it! Now move, I have to hide it.”
