SEEN AND HEARD
Deep down in my heart,
I resides,
My spirit is longing,
My dreams cast aside.
For your presence feels small,
My thoughts were dismissed,
My worth ignored by all.
My words, like whispers,
Fall on deaf ears,
My feelings invalidated,
My pain unclear.
I yearn for validation,
A love that's true,
To be seen and heard,
To feel valued too.
