Why did I cry that night?
You know the one
We were laying there
Staring at the ceiling
Wondering how soon we would move in together
The paint peeling off the wall
The bed damp, snow gently falling down outside
The trees bountiful shake
Atmosphere bleak and humid
Sweat barely moving from my hairline
It wasn't the best conditions
Yet I was happy
You were too
I know you were.
So why did I cry?
I may never know the answer
That's what makes this whole situation beautiful
The simplicity of life still made me mourn
Mourn the loss of chaos
The hectic fight of a lovers quarrel
The exasperated sigh of frustration
All gone because
Well quite simply
I'm in love with you.-Johnny
