"Are you going to slap me?" Theo said while closing his one eye for a while now, expecting a slap from Lily who was still blank in her thoughts.

Lily was snapped back to reality when he asked the question, "I... I'm going to study," she said and began to get out of the jacuzzi.

She took a few steps but felt a hand stopping her. Lily's heart kept on beating like there was no tomorrow, she cursed the coffee she had drank a few hours ago for making her palpitate like this, "Your phone," Theo said, sadness evident in his voice.

"Thanks," and she disappeared within a second out of the place while he was still there.

As soon as Lily arrived in her room she immediately collapsed on the floor and processed everything.

"He likes me... He loves me," she mumbled and slightly slapped her cheeks.

How did she not notice when she noticed everything? Did she perhaps try so much to avoid him or any romantic ideas just to keep him?

Lily never planned on dating Theo—although she did imagine dating Theo, of course. Anyone who has a crush on their best friend had imagined at some point but she never planned on it! Even before Ginny and him became a thing. After all of those scenarios/imaginations of him and her being together—all of those end of them breaking up and hating each other.

That's the worst. One of her biggest fears.

The next day, Lily walked out of her room, sleepless and restless. but all of her droopy eyes went wide when she saw Theo outside of her room with a rose in his hand and a pack of M&M's.

She could not project a word to let out but good thing he said something first, "I may not be able to acquire 100 dates with another girl to prove that it's still you but I can prove to you 100 times and a few hundreds and thousands more why you should give me a chance."

Lily's mouth slightly went ajar and thought, 'How could he change in an instant and pull up a line that I never thought I'd hear?'

"How can you be so reckless with this Theo? This is us. This is our friendship that we built for years—you're gambling everything..."

It was Theo's turn whose mouth agape, "Is this how you see everything I just said? But I love you Trilly. How can I pretend that all is fucking alright with me just being your friend when I am stopping my urge to kiss you whenever I see you after a tiring day? How can I fucking stop everything in me that wants you?"

Lily unconsciously took a step back, she was overwhelmed. She does not know if this is how love works or if are they being reckless. Is he being reckless? She thought. What does she know when all she knows is him? How does she know what is the right type of love when all she sees is him?

"You know that I do not have any experiences about love right?"

Theo looked up to her after a heavy silence, he nodded and waited for her to say something with hope.

"I will do 100 dates with other people and come back to you after."
