All the bandits cheered Motoroshi on, for they were glad he was still on their side. But out of all the cheers, the person with the biggest smile was Chiampa. His admiration for Motoroshi as his leader lasted till death, so he would always follow any step he took.
"Chiampa." He called unto him. "Go back and take care of that errand for me. I'll meet you back at the base the following day. Make sure to gather up everyone there. Am I clear?"
Chiampa bowed down on his feet. "Crystal."
Motoroshi smiled as Chiampa vanished. He then turned his attention back to Tedashii.
"Very well. Shall we continue?"
Tedashii began to shiver. He was afraid to try and strike again, thinking that it would result in him dying. And Monk told him that after you got revived, there was time until it was available again. If you die during its cool-down, you will be trapped in your consciousness forever.
"Tedashii, don't do it!" Kate yelled at him to stay put.
"HAHAHA! He's cornered. If you don't come to our boss, he'll come to you!"
The bandits kept taunting Tedashii.
"I'm afraid that is not how it works..." Motoroshi interrupted. "Every prowess has its disadvantages. Mine is that I cannot move from where I place my points."
"...Points?" Tedashii asked.
"That is correct. You see, Shoshitsu means Vanishing. In other words, I plot two different vanishing points with two power kicks. I can burst a wind kick between the points when they have both been set. My vanishing point will still get you no matter what you do."
"Wait, but doesn't that make it easy to dodge if it's cone-based?" Genti asked.
"Not at all. Vanishing points don't have specific marks; they can be set anywhere. I can take the full diameter of a circle and make those my points."
Tedashii leaped once again. But before he reached Motoroshi, he kicked in two opposite directions.
Blue Rose-
SLAMM!!
Tedashii was kicked in the gut this time. But instead of being flung to the wall, Motoroshi held him up in the air with his leg.
~WIND PROWESS: HORIZON BROOK!
BWOOSH!!
Another kick was followed on his gut, followed by three more. Then Motoroshi went down for his ankle, then the jaw, the stomach, the head, the knee, and the chin. And after that barrage of kicks, he held his leg upright above a kneeling Tedashii.
"Never underestimate my power in your next life."
~FUSHIGIRI PROWESS: POWER KICK!
BAAAMMMMM!!!
Tedashii was hurled through a steel wall, leaving everyone in shock. Genti, Kate, and Suzuki could only watch in astonishment while the bandits celebrated their victory. Motoroshi assumed the fight was over and began walking back to his seat, but the bandits' expressions compelled him to turn around and look.
"WHAA??!!!"
The smoke cleared up, and Tedashii was up on his two feet. His palm was held right where Motoroshi laid his Power Kick. It was boiling red but proved that he actually guarded the attack.
"You are starting to piss me off," Motoroshi said as aura began to emit from his body.
Tedashii aimed his finger toward Genti's ropes and fired a wind slash.
SNAP!
It set Genti free, and he helped out Kate and Suzuki.
"Captain! Let me fight him; you stay down and recover."
"*Huff, Genti. Buy...me some...time..."
Tedashii fell to his knees again, so Suzuki quickly healed him. Kate stayed in front of them to keep guard. "Don't lose, shark boy."
"I never planned to."
He walked ahead, but the bandits blocked his spot.
"Hey, you little brat! Our boss has a score to settle with that boy on the ground. So butt off, will ya!"
But Genti didn't listen; he just kept walking ahead.
"You know, I always knew I wasn't cut out to be a superhero..."
He began to charge up spiritas. "I killed nearly half of the survivors at the camp, but yet...when I saw Captain on the ground, I could feel his power! And now, here I stand, fighting for someone I feared. I like the sound of that!"
"Take one more step, and we will...!!!"
~Beast Prowess: One Million Senses!
Genti took his stance, "Deep Sea Predator," and his eyes began to glow. He summoned a vast water bullet, but it flew upwards and missed all the bandits.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! WHO TAUGHT YOU HOW TO AIM?!!"
