red for the roses you lived by,
blue for the cracks in my soul.
yellow for the stained-glass windows you swore by,
green for your fear of getting old.
one for the lights that we watched together,
two for the shine in your eyes.
three for your thousandth hour with me,
four for the only time you saw me lie
and five for the day that i watched you die.
