I'm sorry I ruined your life. Caring for me surely harmed your ego
But truth never mauls an honest heart.
You're so understanding. One day, you'll be there,
I know, I know, I know.
Feed my mind with more of yourself,
Take up every wretched inch of my heart,
Keep it in your hands. Shove me into your singing bird box
For only then will you be comfortable.
Free reign, isn't it?
That breath of fresh air, once you've caught me in your chains,
Safe and sound, as the sky breaks free above my head?
I apologise that I couldn't pass distinction.
But I never wanted to measure to your readings
Or your condescending assessments of me.
