Charlie has been in a coma for 1 week and Nick has not left Charlie's side for a moment. The doctors have made Nick aware that there is a good chance that Charlie may not make it. Charlie goes into cardiac arrest because he was malnourished and had many bruises and several broken bones caused by Jane. They put a tube in Charlie's nose and there is a tube down his throat to help him breathe. When Charlie wakes up, I wake up wondering how extensive the damage is and where Charlie should go. Nick talked to Sarah and asked if Charlie couldn't live there, but unfortunately that was a bit more difficult than expected. Sarah comes every day after work to check on Nick and Charlie to see how things are going. Fortunately, Jane hasn't come by yet and that's a good thing. Charlie is connected to all kinds of machines and that scares Nick quite a bit. Every time a doctor comes to take a look, but unfortunately there is still no progress. Can you let go of someone you love? Why do I actually think about this: Charlie is strong and would never give up, right?
