"I'm going to remove this now." Y/n could faintly hear a woman say as the cloth that had been around her eyes for so long had finally been taken off. She winced at the sight of the sun's rays before her eyes immediately widened in awe.

"Wow! These buildings sure are amazing!" Tanjiro exclaimed as the female kakushi smiled. "Everyone who comes here says the same thing."

Tanjiro took a big whiff, and his eyes slightly glimmered. "And this scent... there must be a hot spring nearby!"

Y/n's eyes immediately widened at the mention of a hot spring. "What! There is?!" Y/n immediately glared down at the pathway before marching into the village. "We've got no time to lose, Tanjiro! Off to the hot springs!"

"Ma'am, you two are going to have to meet the chief before doing anything." The male kakushi sweatdropped as Y/n deadpanned. "What...?"

"If you turn left at the end of this path, you'll find the chief's home. Please go there and greet him first before doing anything." The female kakushi informed them as Y/n gave up.

Then, the two kakushi's bowed. "We'll be taking our leave now, but we wish you two the best." The male spoke as Y/n jogged back next to Tanjiro as the two bowed in unison. "Thank you very much!"

Y/n immediately placed a hand on her mouth as the two of their voices echoed throughout the land.

"Hello there! I'm the chief of this village, Tecchikawahara Tecchin. Nice to meet you! The smallest person in this village... and the most important, is me. Well, why don't you two bow your heads down so low your foreheads touch the mat?"

With an immediate response, both Y/n and Tanjiro slammed their heads against the ground, Y/n sure that she had received a bruise from the impact.

"I'm Kamado Tanjiro!"

"And I'm Itadori Y/n!"

"It's a privilege to meet you!" The two exclaimed in unison as they could hear the village chief giggle. "Well, what a fine duo. Come here, have some sweets."

Placed in front of them were two small bowls of some sort of food. But Y/n didn't care nonetheless, she was starving anyway.

"Thank you very much!" The two shouted in unison again as the two started gobbling up the sweets. Y/n's eyes shimmered with delight as the two smiled widely.

"This tastes delicious!"

"Where did you buy this?? I need some too!"

"They're homemade, sweetie," The short, white-haired male with a specially designed hyottoko mask covering his facial features. He glanced over at the boy, "Aren't they delicious?"
