I shut the door behind me as I take a step into my home. The stuff I just learned was still fresh in my mind, and it gave me a headache.

'What the hell am I going to do now?'

Although my thoughts are overwhelming, I shouldn't talk to anyone about this.

Matt and Chris would freak out and not believe me, while my friends would think I'm a sociopath and put me in a psych ward.

I put off these thoughts and head to the kitchen to go something to eat. Avocado toast sounds nice, so I grab out an avocado to cut it up.

It was so silent you could only hear the knife hitting the cutting board as I chopped up the soft fruit.

Setting down the knife, I go to grab a slice of bread.

Before I can do anything, I hear a noise.

I swiftly turn my body to look towards the noise, and I see a figure standing by the kitchen.

My brain doesn't register who it was, so I go grab the avocado pit and throw it right the stranger's forehead. I immediately raised my hands to cover any of my vital body parts, as the stranger could fight back at any moment.

"Ahh! What the fuck!"

I slowly rest my hands, realizing I had hit Chris in the forehead with an avocado pit.

"Oh shit, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were standing right there." I say in an embarrassed tone.

"Sheesh, thank goodness that rock didn't blow straight through my head. I never thought you were that strong, my god." Chris responds as he goes to the freezer to get an icepack.

"It's actually an avocado pit."

Chris turns to me, only to make weird ass face.

"It still felt the same you goddamn idiot."

As if on que, Matt walks into the kitchen.

"Yoo what's up Nick? I feel like I haven't seen you in actual years. Where were you today." Matt says as he goes and sits down on one of the barstools.

Oh shit.

My face is probably going red.

I turn to grab my toast from the toaster and finally decide to answer Matt.

"I ran into an old friend, so I guess I just forgot what time it was."

"Yeah sureeee." Matt responds as he gets off his stool and makes his way to his room.

Chris gave me one more look before heading to his room downstairs.

I take a glance over to my toast and avocado, and suddenly I'm not hungry anymore.
