Jermaine POV
It was around 2 in the morning and I got a call from Michelle's mom saying that Michelle is in labor. I woke up Sabrina and we got dress and was on our way to the hospital.
When we got there I see her mom, her two sister May and Mya, and her moms boyfriend Kevin. We sat next to her and she told me to go in the room with her. I told Sabrina to stay in the lobby and she nodded and gave me a kiss. I had to believe this was the right thing to do. I went inside the room and she looked terrible. She was sweating and there were doctors and nurses around her. Her boyfriend wasn't even here. Fuck nigga but that's who she dates so why am I complaining.
"Is he the father? " the doctor asked me and her mom looked at me.
"Yes I am, " I said as I sighed and sat next to Michelle and held her hand.
14 Hours Later
"Ok Michelle we need one more big push we see the head, " the doctor said and she did as told almost breaking my damn hand. The baby was born. It was a girl, wow. When I was able to hold her she looked just like me and had my same skin tone. She was so small and cute. She smiled a little bit when she opened her eyes and saw me. That almost made me cry. I'm glad I came and that Sabrina convince me to come.
"She's so beautiful, " I said and Michelle was sleep. Her mom was inside with me and Sabrina was next to me. She held her and she almost cried.
"What's her name? " she asked me.
"Lily," I said looking at her. She looked as cute as a flower so why not name her Lily. I fed her and put her in her little bed and it was time for us to go. As we left we went to the beach house, took a shower and went straight to sleep. There was no words just I love you and than bed I was tired and I wanted my sleep being up for as long as I was it killed me.
Two weeks later
Michelle dropped Lily off to spend the week with me while she went away with her nut ass boyfriend on vacation. I took her bag and stuff from her while she looked at me.
"Look we been through this, I'm only here for the baby, not you go chill with your fuck boy and leave me alone, " I said closing the door in her face. Lily was sleep and Sabrina went out for food so I put her in the bed and was about to take a nap.
"Baby wake up, " I heard as I got up and the lights were off and it was dark in the room.
"What time is it, " I asked.
"10," she said. "You slept half of the day, you ok? " she asked feeling my head and neck.
"I'm fine baby I'm just tired, where Lily? " I asked her.
"We're watching TV she's laying in the play pen, " she said as I kissed her forehead.
"OK I'll come down and join you guys, " I wish I would of had a baby by Sabrina not Michelle. Hopefully in the future we could have a family of our own but right now it feels like we do but in reality we don't. I sat on the couch with Sabrina and Lily on my lap knocked out. I kissed their foreheads, put Lily in her room and than picked my baby up and put her in bed and went to sleep.
