A Month Later....
Sabrina POV
I get up and take a shower. When I get out, I curl my hair and went in my closet to find an outfit. I decided to wear my superman crop top with my semi booty shorts and my blue jordans. Today Jermaine was taking me out somewhere. He didn't say it was a date, I just assumed it was. For the last month Jermaine and I have been just connecting. I trust him but not enough to get in a relationship with him. I'm afraid to get hurt again for the same reason.
Jermaine text me telling me he's downstairs. I walked downstairs and I'll tell my mom I'll be back and she nodded and waved. I get to the door and open it while Jermaine was about to knock on it. "Damn, " he said looking me up and down. "What, " I said laughing. "You look beautiful, " he said as I blushed. "You don't look bad yourself, " I said and he smirked. I was lying. Jermaine looked so good. His hair was type curly. He had a superman shirt on too and his cargo shorts with his blue jordans. We looked like twins somewhat.
Were in the car and he's driving for I believe hours, we finally get to a lake. We get out the car and he grabs my hand. He leads me to where we supposed to go. It was a little boardwalk but nobody was there. Next to it there's a picnic on the side. A smile came on my face. "So this is what you had for me? " I asked as he wrapped his arms around me. "Nope this is for us I thought it would be fun and there's more to come later, " he said and I blushed. I never blushed this much and nobody ever did this for me.
After the picnic, we walked around on the boardwalk until my feet started to hurt. He let me get on his back and I rested my head on his shoulder. "You getting tired Ma? " he asked. "No I'm fine, " I said and he smirked. We saw the fish and found some seashells. He even went to where the games were, since everybody was over there and won me a teddy bear. I beat him in bowling and we ate again. He payed for everything even when I wanted to at least pay him back he told me no. I have to pay him back. Finally it was getting dark but that didn't stop us from still walking. The stars were coming out and it was a beautiful sight. We stopped and laid on the grass and watched the stars. "What do you see when you look at the stars? " he asked me. "It's like a new journey, a path through your mind that takes out what's old and put in something new. The stars is like a person and a feeling that makes you happy and joyful when there here. Also mad when there gone. Mostly I love them especially at night," I said and he nodded. "What about you? " "Well I look at the stars as an opportunity, an opportunity that you can't always have come to you. The stars don't come out everyday, the come when the time is right. They throw out opportunities and blessings everytime there here. Thats how I look at the stars, " he said and I looked at him. He has such a way with words when it comes to soft stuff. I thought he was a bad guy but he's not. He's very sweet. "Sabrina, if you let me say what I have to say. I really care about you and I love seeing you smile everyday. You deserve to be happy and be bright. Not sad and depressed and put down all the time. I would love to be the person that can make you happy and love always, that's if you let me, " he said and I was speechless. I didn't know what to say. "I knew you would be speechless, " he said with a smirk. We got up and got in his car.
We get to my house and I didn't want to leave. I wanted to be with Jermaine as much as I could. This day was amazing and I didn't want it to end when I got out this car. "Jermaine," I said and he looked at me. "Wassup ma, " he said as he looked at me confused. "Can I stay with you a little longer. It's just today was amazing and I don't want it to end, " I said and he smirked. "Sure," he said as he left mine and went to his house.
I layed in his bed while he was in the shower. I was just listening to music until he came out the bathroom with the towel around his waist and his abs was on display. He had a big long tattoo on his chest like August Alsina has. It's very cute. "Stop staring you gonna start something you won't be able to finish, " he smirked at me. I turned my attention back on my phone and he jumped on me. "Get off me, " I said laughing. "Jermaine get off, " I whined. He laughs and hugs me tighter. "You play too much get off of me, " I said and he moves off of me and lays on his side of the bed. "So you have your answer yet? " he asked looking at me as I turned to face him. Oh, yeah his question. "What was the question again? " I asked playing dumb. "Would you be my girlfriend? " he asked and I was speechless again. Should take the risk of getting hurt or should I miss out on something I could of had good for me? "Yeah, " I said and he kissed me. I cuddle in his embrace till he had to take me home and I slept peaceful that night.
