Forgotten memories

The abyss

When they walk at home. Now, the sun begins to rise. Eirix sees a few angels who's talking with other people. He immediately recognized that the angels were his father's soldiers.

"We should go."

"Why? Eirix, what's wrong?"

"Look, they're from my father army."

They start to walk faster to Naoki's house, but the angels notice that and follow them. An angel stood before Eirix.

"Prince, you need to go with us."

Eirix tried to use his power to stop the angels.

"Nayuta, Rune, Naoki, Nixie... go!" he exclaimed.

Rune cuts his hand, and his blood suddenly explodes. Nayuta uses his power to push away the angels.

"Nayuta... go away with Eirix, now!" Rune hollered.

Naoki uses his ring and makes fire around them. Nayuta grabbed Eirix arm and ran away. They went out of the city and ran closer to the forest, but the angels found them again. Eirix and Nayuta moved away from each other. When Eirix looks around, he doesn't seem Nayuta. He sees a dark silhouette that looks like Nayuta, and he runs after that.

"Nayuta? Nayuta!" he exclaimed.

His legs carried him forward. He runs deeper and deeper in the forest. The rising sun illuminates him. He reached the edge of an abyss which had water at the bottom, and the angels caught up him.

"You must go with us, prince."

Eirix looks down on the abyss bottom, and he jumps off to the water. He tried to use his wings to slow the fall. He fell into the shallow water, but something pulled him lower and lower under the ground. He tried to swim up but he couldn't. The angel felt himself completely paralysed. He can't breathe. Everything went dark around him. Before he loses his consciousness, someone leaned closer to his mouth and kissed him. Nayuta granted a little oxygen into his lungs and pulled him up. When Nayuta pulled him up, he realized that the water was only up to his knees. So, what was that? Why did the water pull him down, or what pulled him down?

"What was that? The water was shallow..." he coughs up the water.

"I don't know... but... I'm sorry... I don't mean that." He holds closer the angel.

"It's okay... I hope it is..." Eirix leaned closer and kissed him.

Nayuta smiled softly and kissed him back. A few seconds later, Nayuta noticed that Eirix embrace started to weaken. The angel's body limps in his arm, and he loses his consciousness. Nayuta looks down at the boy and notices a deep cut on his side.

"Fuck, Eirix... you're bleeding." he's voice is shaking and he pulls closer the boy. "What should I do?"

Nayuta put the boy on his back and walked out of the water. He goes back to the town and tries to find some help. The angels surrounded them and pointed at them their weapons.

"I'm so sorry, Eirix, please don't hate me." He turns to Eirix and places him down to the ground.

"He was injured... please just help him."

The angels hit Nayuta on his back of his head, and he loses his consciousness. An angel makes a magical orb where the king comes visible.

"King Zamariel, we found your son and his friend."

"Great, brought them here..." he laughs a little.
