Among the clouds

Zamariel sat on his throne while two guards walked at him.

"Bring Eirix back, and the demon boy will follow him... and try to break in, but we will wait for him..."

"I know... I knew everything." Eirix said his voice trembled.

"What do you mean everything...? You know about me...?"

"Why didn't you tell me? Wait, were you scared of me?"

"No, I just..." His voice trembled. He felt ashamed because he was scared of him enough not to tell him.

"You are... I can't believe that you're still scared of me after what we did..." His expression was hurt, and he just turned away and walked to their room.

Eirix just stood and tried not to show any emotion. He's completely frozen. It was sudden, and he didn't understand what Nayuta felt right now.

Naoki turned to Eirix and saw his distressed expression. He sat down on the couch near him.

"Nayuta can be like that, but he'll calm down soon. Don't worry." He started.

"But what if he won't?"

"He will... he loves you more than anything... just give him some time."

"I'm going somewhere to clear my head. I'll be here soon."

Eirix just walked out of the house and made his way to the forest. There were some mountains near the forest. He decided to go there.

Soon, he arrived at the top of the cliff. He just looked down. The sun begins to set. It was beautiful. When the colors of the sky met. Some stars appeared on the sky now. He just watched that. He knew what he wanna do and how risky it is. He stood on the edge of the cliff.

"Let's see, that I can fly now. If I'm not... just let me get thought on this." He sighed and stepped off. He started to fall and speared his wings and tried to use it. With a strong movement, he rose into the air and soared above the clouds. He smiled softly. He reached out his hand to touch the clouds, but he couldn't. But he felt something soft and wet. Tried some tricks. Spin around. Fly higher or lower. His wings weren't too strong to fly for long. He begins to land, but he falls to the ground. Some broken sticks scratched his body. He helped himself to get up and leaned against the trees.

"That was so good, ow." He laughed a little and made his way to home.

After some time, he arrived. He opened the door and saw Naoki sitting on the couch with Rune. They seemed troubled.

"Did something h-"

"Eirix, you're home... I was so worried... why did you go away." Nayuta hugged him tightly. He seemed worried and stressed."

"I... I..."

"Listen, I'm sorry... what I did in the morning."

"And I'm sorry that I didn't tell you what I know."

"It's okay..."

Naoki stood and seemed so confident. He crossed his arms and leaned against the wall. He wanted to talk about some serious things.

"Okay, we have to talk... So we talked about it, we can't defeat your father. We're not that strong, and we're not enough."

"Wait, you're injured? What happened?" Nayuta interrupted and examined his injuries.
