Hidden In The Shadows

Chapter 5

As we are sitting there on the bench side by side a million thoughts are going through my head 'what did I just do'.

"What you did was have sex with me.... congratulations your not a virgin anymore" Mattheo says to me while turning his head and giving me this sweet smile that I've never seen on his face before it's almost warming.

"HEY GUYS WE'RE HEADING IN YOU COMING" I hear being shouted from the quidditch stands below. Mattheo gets up off the bench and strolls over to the banister. Places his hands on the banister and looks down to see who it was.

"It's Theo my love" He tells me. He's still calling me love I don't understand why this is so strange I've never heard him call anyone love I've never seen him give a warming smile, its like I'm getting to know a whole new side of him just because some stupid bottle landed on him.

"WE'LL MEET YOU THERE" Mattheo shouts down to them I assume Theo gave him a thumbs up and they all started to walk back.

"You don't want to walk back with them?" I ask and he turns around to see me still sitting on the bench he looks shocked that I asked him that.

"Would you prefer to walk back with them" He asks me. The problem is I don't what I'd prefer I don't know if this is just my hormones levels being erratic or me but I just want to stay with him.

"No" I say. I start to stand up and walk over to him standing by the banister. He walks closer to me at this point we are only inches apart.

"Then what do you want?" He asks me. He used the tip of finger to push up on my chin so that I'm looking in his eyes. Something about his eyes just seem so mesmerising so much so that I can't look away.

"Do you want to stay with me here?" He questions me and I simply nod not knowing what my body is doing anymore. Its like he's put me under a spell and I'm noticing things I've never noticed before.

"Yes" I whisper to him and something about say that sends shivers down my spine. The thought of what's going to happen now.

He leans in and places his lips softly on mine and pulls back away.

He takes my hand and guides me back to the bench where we both sit side by side each other.

After what felt like hours of just talking to each other I realised that the sun has started to come up.

I jump up off of the bench and go to the edge of the banister and look directly at the sunrise. I turn back to see Mattheo looking at me with this soft expression on his face. I walk back over to him and grab his hand. I pull him to the edge of the banister with me.

"Lets watch the sunrise" I tell him in away that's sort of a question. I'm more asking if he would watch it with me.

"Okay" He says to me while looking down at me so he can see my eyes.
