Hidden In The Shadows

Introduction

Hi I'm Daniella Evans but everyone calls me Dani except for Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia who are too 'proper' to shorten my name.

I sorta look like my brother except i don't have the scar or the glasses which I'm kinda happy about as they kinda look goofy in my opinion.

Me and Harry were brought to them when we were babies from what I could tell they aren't at all pleased about it even it has been 16 years they still don't like it.

When me and Harry first went on the train to Hogwart we came across the Weasleys who sometimes gets on my nerves. When I first met Ron he and my brother got on really well and we were okay he seemed alright.

When we got to Hogwarts this kid with gel backed blonde hair came up to Harry and tried to be his friend he introduced himself as Draco Malfoy now him I was impressed by not sure why I just sensed that he would be a good friend to me. Harry pretty much pushed Draco aside and chose to choose that ginger freak over him which I think was stupid but jt was his choice. So I decided to jump in and take the opportunity and introduce myself Draco seemed pleased that I introduced myself. Before we went into the Great Hall Draco introduced me to all his other friends that he apparently knew since he was a few years old.

Astoria Greengrass she made quite an impression as she and her family are quite close to the Royal family but she seemed nice. Pansy Parkinson seemed a but rough at first  and very territorial but quite a sweetheart when you get to know her. Blaise Zambini so love him he is like my best friend of them all we hut it off right away and became best friends in that moment. Theodore Nott everyone calls him Theo unless he's in trouble then full name bases he seemed a bit out if sorts he didn't really seemed to care although he seemed very parionoid about every movement that everyone was making he calmed down after a few years but he's quite direct I'd say. Lorenzo Berkshire but everyone calls him Enzo and seem like he just wanted to get everything over with and had a plan for everything he seemed like he just wanted to make sure that he landed in a specific house. Then there was Mattheo Riddle the dark Lords son I kept hearing whispers about him that day on the train and the boat ride saying that he's dangerous but to me he didn't seem dangerous he just seemed like he needed people so that he didn't seem alone.

When it finally came to the sorting ceremony there was a few people a head of me including my own brother at this point I hadn't told anyone that he was my twin as it completely slipped my mind the only person that me and Harry had told was Ron which was on the train even he wondered why we had different names. I had to explain to him that our mum wanted one of her children to have her maiden name so she gave it to me.

Harry went up to the stool and sat down and kept repeating 'not slytherin' like there was something wrong with that house quite frankly I don't understand why. The hat put him in Griffiyndor the students of Grffinydon house were so happy about that.

Then it was my turn so I sat on the stool and I didn't say anything because I wanted to see what house I would be put in without influenci g the hat. Slytherin.

I was so pleased to be put into Slytherin because it meant that I was with my new friends and they were happy for me aswell.

I looked across from the table over to Harry who was staring at me and he smiled at me then Ron whispered something in his ear and Harry's smile faded away and from that day Harry didn't care much about me when we were at school.

He only cared about me when we were at Uncle Vernon's and Anunt Petunias house I think because there we were never in different places and Ron wasn't whispering things to him.

That was 5 years ago now and I'm in my 6th year so it's nearly over which I'm so happy about.
