After a few days of not meeting with Lilith, Klaus was confused as to what she had in mind for breaking Rebekah and Alexander's relationship. Because day by day he was growing more concerned, and terrible dreams started to trickle into his mind. He hated the feeling of it just as much as he hated the thought of losing his siblings.
Klaus knocked on the door of Lilith's house and frowned when the door opened, revealing Axel standing before him. "Where is Lilith?"
"And what business do you have with Lilith today?" Axel asked, rolling his eyes at the Original.
"I need to speak with her about personal matters," Klaus forced a smile as he looked at Axel. "And do you live here with Lilith?"
"Yes."
"I see..." Somehow that fact bothered Klaus, but he shoved it aside. "Now, where is Lilith?"
Axel paused, hesitating to answer him. "Come with me," Axel breathed out tiredly, before leading Klaus to the backyard of their house.
The yard was covered in fresh green grass with a path paved with decorative grey marble slabs. Klaus' eyes followed the path that led to Lilith. Her back faced him as she worked on a thick wooden table.
"Lili. Klaus is here to speak with you."
"Hmm?" She turned around and locked eyes with Klaus. She broke into a smile, seeing him. "Klaus! How good to see you!"
"Of course, it is. Who wouldn't feel good to see me? But what are you doing?" He asked pulling back from the hug and looking at her hands that were covered with dough.
"Just some baking."
"Good deed," Axel says, rolling his eyes and taking a cookie from the tray that was fresh out of the oven.
Lilith sighed, rolling her eyes at him. "That's not for you," She slaps the hand that Axel moved forward to grab another cookie.
"The least you can do is give me a few of these for gathering all these ingredients."
Lilith shook her head at Axel, before turning to Klaus. "Come, let's sit." She took him to the chairs beside the other table.
"You promised me sister," Klaus says, sitting down on the chair. "You meant it? Let me remind you that you promised me first."
"I know, I know," Lilith grumbled in annoyance. "That's why I had a plan ready before I promised your sister. It's true that I will not intervene between the couple. But I also understand the great risk that is to fall upon your little sister. I would be worried much like you too if I had a younger sibling..." Lilith pressed her lips together.
