House of Anubis: Sibuna Returns

House of New Beginnings

It has been 10 years since Victor sold the House of Anubis. A lot of students have came and went. This cycle had repeated over and over, alumni leaving and new students moving into the house. New students were indeed living in the house, Trudy attending to their needs, but no Victor. Kai was the new caretaker of the house, and was doing a poor job at it. Charlene, a woman around the age of Trudy, had also moved in to help out around the house since Trudy had also taken a job in town at a local florist shop, where another Anubis alumni named Willow Jenks also worked. Some of the Anubis alumni remained around the area, some of them were in a different country. This is where our story starts. Nina Martin, an American who joined Amun Boarding School on a scholarship, was living back in the Midwest working as a nurse while also helping out at home with her Gran. Nina had left the school after two years there because her Gran got ill, which was her reasoning for becoming a nurse. Not only was she a nurse, but she was the Chosen One. The Chosen One, also known as the Paragon, was the name given to a direct descendant of the ancient Egyptian bloodline that descended from the High Priestess Amneris and presumably her lover King Tutankhamun, and was born on the specific month, on a certain day, and a certain time, which all fell on the same number. Nina was born on July 7, at 7am. The Chosen Ones were the only ones able to fulfill their destiny and reassemble the broken Cup of Ankh by the god Anubis and restore it to its former strength and glory, and were protected by their destined equivalent, the Osirian. Nina succeeded in putting together the Cup of Ankh to its former glory. Not only that, but she stopped a spirit by the name of Senkhara take her to the afterlife with the Mask of Anubis, with the help from her friend at Anubis named Eddie Miller. Eddie was her other-half, the Osirian. The Osirian is supposed to protect the Chosen One. The last Osirian inhabited Eddie's body, but was sacrificed to save the world on the Anubis alumni's gradation day. Ironically, the Chosen One and the Osirian should not be together, otherwise danger will find them. Nina decided not to back to Anubis because her and Eddie had found out that they can't be together. Eddie now lives close to the school, to be close to his dad, along with his girlfriend named Patricia Williamson. Patricia and Eddie have been together since they attended Amun Boarding School. Nina, Eddie, and Patricia were all apart of a secret club during their time spent at Anubis, called Sibuna. Fabian Rutter, Amber Millington, and Alfie Lewis were also apart of the Sibuna club, along with the other Anubis house residents joining in at some points during their time there. Fabian and Nina used to go out, but broke up after Nina did not return to Anubis. Fabian was heartbroken, but at the end of the school year he had started dating Mara Jaffray. The two are no longer together, but remain best friends. Fabian and Mara are currently traveling Egypt together in search of Robert Frobisher-Smythe. KT Rush, another Anubis alumni, is also with them on their travels. Robert Frobisher-Smythe, was the owner of Anubis house until he died. KT is Robert's great-granddaughter, and she has not heard from him since he had originally left for Egypt 10 years ago.

Eddie and Patricia were planning on going to the school that day to visit Eddie's dad, Mr. Sweet for his birthday.

"Are you ready yet, Yacker?" Eddie asks her.
"Almost!" she shouts back.
"I'm leaving soon without you," he responds, as he was already downstairs.
"No you aren't!" she shouted, running down the stairs, and then tripping on her own shoelaces that Eddie had tied together.
He then laughed.
"This isn't funny," Patricia said.
"Oh, it is," he told her, helping her up.
"Ugh. Why did you do that?" she asked.
"Do what?"
"Tie my shoelaces," she responds.
"It was a joke. You should be laughing," he says.
"Yeah, when the joke is funny." she tells him.
Eddie and Patricia were madly in love, but they loved to prank and tease each other. That was how their relationship had always been. They were perfect for each other.
"Well, it's time to go," Eddie said.
"Finally," she sighed. "Did you grab the mail at all?"
"No," Eddie says. "Go grab it, I gotta run upstairs for something,"
Patricia sighed and walked out the door, over to the mailbox. They lived in a small home that Eddie had bought. It was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. There was a nice view of the lake called Man's Dam Lake from their backyard. She opened the mailbox and grabbed the mail, shutting the mailbox after she took the mail out. It was just a few bills, then she saw that Amber had sent her a letter, from a British address. Amber had moved to America for fashion school, but returned after graduating. Amber now owns her own fashion brand. The stamp was an eye, a symbol of Sibuna.
"What are you looking at?" Eddie asked, standing next to her.
"It's a letter from Amber," Patricia told him.
"Is that an eye?" Eddie asked, referring to the stamp.
"Sibuna?" Patricia asked, grabbing the keys to her car, and putting the rest of the mail in her purse.
She then opened it, and read the letter out loud.
