House of Reunions

Nina had said goodbye to her Gran that week, and was immediately on a flight to Liverpool. Nina's aunt and her Gran had both brought her to the airport. She was feeling all sort of emotions; she kept thinking about Fabian. Then her Gran. Then Sibuna.

"Bye Gran," Nina said, hugging her.

Nina's Gran watched as she walked into the airport. She waved at her Gran and then her Aunt. It had been 10 years now. 10 long years away from what was once her second home. The flight was a long one, and she slept for most of it. When she was awake, she was going over scenarios in her head of what to say when she sees Fabian and Mara together for the first time. But maybe she wouldn't need to worry... Mick was possibly also going, and that meant that Mara might want to hang out with him again. Nina wasn't sure.

Nina didn't get off the plane till around noon the next day. The flight had taken longer than expected because of turbulence. Nina had slept through most of it. It was colder in Liverpool when she got off the plane. Well, cold for her. It was warmer than usual in Ohio that year, especially since Summer was just around the corner. That was one thing that she never got used to. Liverpool was colder than Ohio. She grabbed her suitcase, and headed towards the exit, and got a taxi to the bus stop which was maybe a good 10 miles from Anubis house. It felt like deja vu. Same place she had been every year before the school year started. She wasn't alone this time. There was a girl that was also waiting, with her suitcase right beside her. That girl was KT Rush. Nina thought she looked familiar but just gave her a weak smile and stood as she waited.

"You waiting too?" KT asked.

Nina smiled and responded. "I'm American too,"

"Nice," KT said. "Where you from?"

"Ohio," Nina smiled.

"Oh, I should've known," KT laughed. "That smile you gave me. We don't really do that in Pennsylvania. Midwest thang,"

"I'm Nina,"

"Nina," KT said. "You come here before?"

"No," Nina laughed. "I went to school here years ago, it's up the road,"

"Me too," KT said, gasping.

"Anubis house," they both said.

"You're here for the reunion?" Nina asked. "Wait, you know Eddie,"

"Yeah," KT smiled. "And Amber. And Fabian..."

"How is Fabian?" Nina asked.

"Good, I was just with him and Mara," KT said. "Why haven't you seen them in years?"

"I've only really seen Amber," Nina said. "She was in America,"

"Fashion school," KT nodded.

They then saw the black taxi car approach, and KT gave a squeal as she ran over. It was the same man that had always picked up Nina.

"Welcome back," he said to the both of them.

Over at Anubis house, the students there were getting ready for their day at school. There were currently 8 students living there, and they were excited as ever because their school year was close to being finished. There names were Emily, Raphael, Anastasia, Stella, Mark, Pam, Lexie, and Thomas. Emily was Mr. Leo's daughter, and her boyfriend was Raphael. Emily and Raphael walked in, to see Charlene serving them breakfast.

"No Trudy today?" Emily asked.

"No, love," Charlene smiled. "How could you tell?"

"She usually has flowers set up in here,"
